Why Macy's Starbucks don't have Puppuccino,... . since I have my dog with my and I was shopping ,I went to Starbucks inside Macys to get a drink and a Puppuccino for my little Yorkie, but they refused to give me some, I asked the Lady manager and she told me because they are Macy's and Not Starbucks and the Puppuccino is not healthy for the dogs... So if isn't healthy why they continue putting It in our drinks And why they call the place Starbucks if they said they are Macy's..... I'm very unhappy and for sure will never go to this place again. My Pet is my companion and she was looking at me with a drink and she couldn't get anything there. When some people will realize that our pets are very important in our lifes. VERY disappointed at Macy's Manhasset.
I've rediscovered Macy's. It's a great place to get makeup. The staff is generally helpful, it's easy to find what you need, and you get Star points with every purchase. Also had occassion to buy a mattress there, and there is great customer service. Don't know much about the other departments, but there is easy parking.
This review is for Desiree in bedding in the Manhasset store. If you’re looking for outstanding service from a salesperson and need bedding, go see Desiree in the bedding department. She is what a salesperson should be like. I came in looking for a quilt. She guided me through all the different companies and explained each one to me. I never felt rushed. She was so nice. I bought a beautiful quilt with pillows. What a great shopping experience! Thank you Desiree!
The location is great! I always enjoy shopping here, This Macy's is the only one set up a customer service station on the main floor. But today, when I was at the shoes department, these ladies were so rude to customers! They were busy talking amount themselves or on their phone. Customers services are so important to the industry.. They need to be more focused on their work!!!
They finally have renovated here but I forgot to take pics. Next time I will be certain to share them. It looks great. Much more organized. So glad they did not shut it down as it was a close call. Great place to shop, great savings!!!
Love the parking lot! Starbucks is a plus! Not usually too busy! Great selection of items in store! Friendly staff! My wife especially loves the makeup section!
Terrible service. I was waiting for 30 minutes to checkout with only 2 ppl ahead of me, then I couldn’t check-out because there were no price tag on my pants and I had to leave after wasting 30 minutes of my life. I love Macy’s but something wrong happened to these stores. I would rather go to Nordstrom Rack not so far away.
No cashiers, no sales person on floor
I believe in an ideal world, store, locations give you much better service than online shopping. You get to touch and feel the clothes, try them on real time, ask people, questions, and a premier location like a large department store like Macy’s, you might even have a tailor on site to provide real time alterations. I actually bought a suit at the Westbury Roosevelt, Field location, tried calling them 1 million times. To see when the tailor would be there, even though when I bought the suit, they said almost always there during business hours. Finally, I took the half hour drive through pouring rain just having faith that somebody would be there because of their refusal to pick up any phone in any department at various times throughout the day, including the curbside pick up option, and when I got there, there was no alterations person present. Total waste of my time. So then I wanted to call the Manhasset location to see if they had an alterations person on site. After all, that was part of the deal of me, buying a suit in person there. To have it altered by their people at a reasonable rate. Sure enough, I called many times, tried many departments, even the curbside pick up department, not a single person picked up. So do I drive all the way over there and waste my time in the pouring rain again just to find out no one is there? If these people want to keep their jobs and keep the industry working, they have to provide “better” service than online. This total waste of my time in Port attention to personal service is unacceptable. If they’re not going to pick up the phone and not have people on staff, and I try to help out their clients in person, what’s the point? You may as well just close the stores.
The reason for one star is because of the disrespectful, and rude staff. One of my family members went and purchased a suit for their prom, the lady Pattie who worked in the suit department stated at the counter when we checked out that when we were done with the suit to just come and return it. Long story short when we went to return the suit not only was she rude, she also said that the suit could no longer be returned even though she had promised that it was returnable up to 90 days and when we tried to reason with her not only did she seem annoyed, but she decided to walk off and mumbled something under her breath. When picking a collard shirt as-well she claimed that we were not allowed to take apart the shirt to try on which was understandable, but I watched as another customer walk in, take apart the packaging, and tried on the shirt without any issues and she watched as the other man walked in. This is a place that we will never be returning to shop for anything, and if anyone is looking to purchase a suit please go somewhere else as not only is the staff rude but they don't stick to their word.
