This was my first time ever shopping at Macy’s, and can i just say it was one of the most amazing, easiest experiences of my life. Betty was the one who helped me, and she is fantastic! She came over at exactly the right moment I was thinking about finding an associate and she popped up out of nowhere with a smile and “how are you doing today?” to show me how measurements for collared shirts work, and ended up walking me through the entire process of buying a suit! She was extremely knowledgeable, and gave me the honest suggestions I needed without being insulting-I was convinced I needed a skinny fit to force a smaller waistline, but she suggested I go for slim, and dang was she right! She also took the time to walk me through nearly every cologne in the store to find the one that fit me. It was incredible to me that she showed so much patience and willingness to help over the 2 HOURS I took to figure everything out that I wanted. In the midst of all this, she was able to help other customers while I made decisions on things and changed my clothing, while also using her headset to celebrate her associate’s successes I’m unsure what successes those were but she would congratulate them by name so her multitasking while keeping a positive attitude is ON POINT! Great store, great location, great pricing, but BETTY is absolutely the reason I’ll be returning. I’m unsure what her position is or what she’s making, but I sure hope you all take care of her: she’s absolute gold! Thanks again Betty, can’t wait to see you next time!
The only reason I give it two stars is because there was a really nice lady helping me find prices on the cologne. On the other hand there was a very ignorant older lady she seemed like she could be a older Hispanic lady. She works in the fragrance department. She was rude an hovered over me watch everything I did. It was because I picked up a bottle of 1million an was trying to find the price. It seemed like she was profiling me and just didn’t like the way I look. Sad though I wouldn’t give them my money for this reason.
The purpose of my review is to highlight that my experience at the store was marred by waiting for over 20 minutes, trying to find a sales rep to ring us up. Despite this frustrating situation, I want to extend a massive shout-out to Liqin for her exceptional help. She was the only sales rep who actively assisted us, answering our questions and facilitating the checkout process. On the other hand, the other three sales reps we encountered completely ignored us. Notably, one particular sales rep by the cashier where the suitcases are, showed little interest in helping and even declined to assist us when we asked for directions and during the checkout. Employees like Liqin deserve commendation, while it's essential to address the issue with the rest of the employees, possibly through better training.
One of the nicer Macy's located inside the City Creek Center. It's definitely worth checking out when in the mall. The store takes up 2 stories and is located right behind the mall's customer service desk.

Very limited selection of men's clothing. Prices aren't that great. Once upon a time this was a fun store, it was wonderful until Macy's took it over.
They made a return online shopping super easy in the store. And City Creek parking is free for quick ins and outs.
Stop don’t get there credit card they didn’t honor there discount and I can’t get ahold of there credit card phone support number 60 to 46 minute wait yesterday and today they overcharged me I have seen multiple items for the same price and then I go to a different section of the store and see the same item for even more that’s against the law and reporting it to do to the state of Utah this is ridiculous the guy told me it would show discount it never did I’m closing my account also it seems why there going down hill they don’t care about their customers because looking at the reviews there not getting to any costumers complaints to help them
During the weekdays here is really quiet!
Macy's at City Creek Center is the place to shop for all your fashion, cosmetics, jewelery and home decor. I noticed this store is very clean and all the associates were happy to help me shop. Their customer service counter is easy to access for picking up online orders or make returns. Curbside pick up is available, if you prefer. There is also a Backstage shop inside, which is basically Macy's outlet store, on the 3rd level. Great designer clothing deals, home accessories and toys for the kids. This shop has it's own check out area making it easy to pay and go. This store is historically unique. For over 100 years this has been a retail shop, originally constructed by ZCMI. Macy's has kept their exterior facade and name visible from Main Street to continue to share this historical landmark.
