Mad Mex Shadyside brings the fresh California-Mexican cuisine, compelling beer and tequila lists, and rustic-yet-hip design that has established Mad Mex as a popular Pittsburgh dining destination since 1993.
The new location—the tenth Mad Mex overall, and the seventh in the Pittsburgh area—marks several exciting firsts for the concept. It’s the first Mad Mex to have a mezzanine, an enclosed party room, or complimentary valet parking. This is the first use of a Hufcor bi-fold door in a Mad Mex, opening up the space to the street. And it’s first purely neighborhood Mad Mex, one not located near a university campus or suburban shopping area.
