We loved this place. It’s off the beaten path, and so quiet and peaceful with breezes through the pines and views and access to the lake. The owners and staff are top notch. The cabin we had was fully furnished and clean with wireless connectivity which allowed me to do some work. It’s also only about 8 miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone. If we make it back, we would stay again!
Our family decided to take an RV and go see a string of national parks, we rented and this stop was about halfway through our trip. Everyone here was absolutely amazing. The staff was so nice and so helpful. It is next to a beautiful lake, and not far from the West Yellowstone entrance. Definitely bring bug spray, but you're missing out if you do not stay here.
We stayed here during our visit to Yellowstone. This campsite is not far away, and the staff was very friendly including the dogs. Sites for tent camping and RV camping are available, and many sites sit right next to a lake for a great view and fishing. Amenities for camping are great as well with a bathroom, laundry room, and small store. Hope to visit again in the future!
The campground is decent- depending on the site you book. However the bathrooms, while cleaned- are tiny and subpar. Also make sure to solidify your booking before arrival. We booked a campsite for a week with 2 dogs- decided not to bring the dogs- we were charged $10/day for the dogs even though they weren't there. The staff was great- owners were super rude and unflexible.
Great isolated campsite. Quiet outside West Yellowstone. Limited services but have WiFi, few showers and a great view on the river. Dirt road access is OK and maintained.Rooms: 5/5
Although this RV park is only 8 miles from west Yellowstone entrance, the path is on loose gravel dirt road which means long slow drive to the RV park 30 minutes. Also can’t enjoy the lake because you get attacked by mosquitoes.Service: 4/5
This place is a true hidden gem!! The drive in is not as bad as some reviews say, it’s totally worth it!!! The lake is So beautiful & the hosts are so helpful! Clean showers & bathrooms. We will definitely be back! Nearby activities: Yellowstone park is a short drive.
I had a great trip. My reservation was for 3 nights originally and they changed it for me to 2 nights as I went through the proper channels. I asked if they had a pull thru available and they did and gave it to me. They were very kind and welcoming. We were lost at first and they guided us on where to go. Yes they are outside the park in the middle of nowhere but it's quiet and beautiful. They have all kind of lodging rv tents cabin. They have laundry bathrooms and the sites each have a picnic table and a firepit. This place is a gem. We would definitely go back. It is off the road bit it is well maintained. I have an rv pulling a trailer no problem. Walkability: Everything within the park was within walking distance. The store bathrooms laundry trash.
Would not come here again. It's very far down a horrible gravel road that feels like it takes forever to get down. Which would be okay if you were getting something amazing but after driving through the forest for 5 miles you're packed nose to nose with the next guy at prices that are ridiculous what you are getting.
This place is amazing. Road is a bit rough, but if you go a little faster it smooths out. They now have a grader and keep the road a lot smoother than in years past. Amazing fishing & wildlife, and the other long term campers are awesome. I love this place an will continue to return.
