I visited this clinic on Monday, July 19th with all the symptoms of a kidney stone to get imaging and treatment to help pass the stone. After a consultation with Aaron Katzenmeyer describing all my symptoms, he agreed that I was experiencing a kidney stone. I was given a toradol shot and was told the clinic would follow up with me for a CT scan and a prescription of toradol pills to take the edge off of my pain. The clinic failed to send the prescription to the walgreens right up the street, and I had to call five times with only excuses, spanning 2 business days and over 9 operating hours, leaving me twisting in the wind as the toradol shot wore off and I had to manage the pain of a kidney stone unaided for over 20 hours. I finally ended up driving to the clinic, where they once again assured me they would send the previously established prescription from my original appointment for the toradol pills to walgreens. I made it very clear I wanted this specific medication because of its non addictive non narcotic nature. Doctor Cristi Trimm and the staff this afternoon went directly against what I requested and sent a prescription of Norco, a highly addictive hydrocodone based pain pill after astutely labelling me as a drug seeker for my attempts to seek only previously discussed treatment they failed to provide due to their neglect. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone, they do not listen to their patients.
Dr. Trimm and her staff are the best around. If you’re looking for a physician that truly cares and will stop at nothing to research your problem, then Dr. Trimm is the right doctor for you. We can’t imagine using anyone else!
Very pleased with Aaron Katzenmeyer but the staff at the front desk need a lot of help knowing how to treat patients.
my whole family sees dr.trimm. she’s easy to talk to and works diligently to diagnose and get you outta there.
I’ve been seeing Aaron Katzenmeyer for years and I love him. His medical assistant that has worked with him for years is amazing as well. Unfortunately, I’m extremely disappointed in the rest of the staff at the new location in Madison. The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude, didn’t greet me with anything other than an exasperated sigh, and refused to even bother looking at me when she handed me my receipt for my co-pay. The newest medical assistant was also rude. She seemed put out by simply taking my blood pressure and weighing me and she barely said two words to me. I don’t want to find a new NP because Aaron has always been wonderful to me and my family every time we see him, but the majority of employees at the new location are making me reconsider continuing to be a patient here.
I was incredibly disappointed with my last visit. I was asked my symptoms and randomly prescribed medicine with out and sort of testing. Presented respiratory issues and possible infection. No i am having difficulties swallowing and am having to seek medical care else where because I don't feel confident coming back to the same experience.
I've been to see Dr. Trimm 3 times, each time for a cold or sinus infection but all 3 times were great experiences as far as being sick and going to the dr goes EVERYONE there from the from desk, nurses, and especially dr trimm is so nice and pleasant it amazes me! She is not your typical uptight dr that you can't have a conversation with. She talks to you like a person and I've dealt with enough Drs to know that's rare these days! I recommend anyone go see her!!!
They got me in sooner than expected, referred me to a specialist, then called a few days later to confirm I had gotten the appointment setup
Dr trimmer was wonderful to my mom yesterday love her already
We love Dr. Trim and all the staff at Merit in Madison.
