As the only Black-owned business in all of Franklin County, Massachusetts, the Gallery was formerly known as Madison on the Avenue, an arts-oriented antique shop.
The site has been a focal point for social justice exhibits and activities, with the intention for people of all backgrounds come together in the spirit of liberation. Rodney Madison maintains an ongoing commitment to opening doors for other artists, including those from underrepresented communities.
Over the past ten months Madison has undergone a personal transformation that has impacted every area of his life; the result is a steady gush of powerful paintings that he is ready to share with the world.
And the world is taking note! His art is now being featured in the media and has attracted the attention of collectors and galleries, where his work will be featured throughout the US, starting in 2017.
