Recently I went to Jefferson Co library, to send a fax to my debit card company. I was charged $181for something I didn't receive. This card is for my disabled daughtters Social Security payments. The staff at the library tried 5 times to send my fraud questionnaire. They went over, and above board for me and we received our money the next day. The staff at JCPL are wonderful, and I appreciate their hard work. Thank you so much,.
There's something for everyone here! Books, audios, movies, and fabulous programs for all ages! The friendly staff is always happy to help you find what you're looking for.
beautiful building Loved the charm of the furnishings Very friendly and handicapped accessible
It's wonderful to have a library that is part of the Evergreen Indiana libraries because you can borrow material from any other library - meaning you can find almost whatever you want! The programming for kids is also a lot of fun. Our son loves the different activity stations they set up in the children's section. We definitely love going and are thankful for all that they offer! Can't wait for my kids to get to enjoy the activities for older children someday.
beautiful huge building, a great library and the kind of place you just like to relax and hang out in for awhile.
The staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs. The facilities all appear clean, quiet, and orderly- a must for any library! Other than size limitations that effect the selection in comparison to libraries in urban areas and somewhat shorter hours of operation, it was the perfect experience!
I have been to this library many times throughout this year, and there haven't been issues. Today, 11/16, there were two. First, 15 minutes after I sat down in a distant table with my computer, an employee asked me where my mask was. That hasn't happened before, and I simply said I was exempt, which I am. She walked away, but later, during an important business-related phone call, which nobody could hear but myself since it was through my computer's bluetooth and a pair of thick headphones, the same employee started knocking on my headphones and telling me I could not talk to anyone without going downstairs. Usually the town of Madison is an excellent place to work and hang out, but this is just another example of government and personal overreach. I don't think I will return to this library branch.
I love the library because its open to the public. There is a lot of benefits like you can rent movies or books, use the computers to work on homework or anything you would like, and join the library’s activities that they have. You should go to the library if you want to get things done. Also the staff are friendly and will help you with anything.
A VERY clean public library with a variety of well-organized books to choose from. Staff here is always ready and willing to help.
This is was my first time at this library, and it definitely will not be my last! Great selection of books, and a awesome and helpful staff!!
