The women that work there are rude no customer service skills whatsoever!! Came in said “good morning” to the cashier she said nothing! Repeated myself again she says I know you said good morning. If your not happy with your job find another period!
$1 energy drinks right around the corner from a college campus? That alone is a recipe for success in my book. The employees are friendly enough, but the storefront is somewhat uninviting due to disrepair and the high homeless presence around the building. Overall, the store is fine. Just don't go strolling around the area alone and unarmed at night.
There is a NEW owner and NEW employees since 1-15-20 they have cleaned the place up so dramatically and more to come!!! I hear the inside store will be a circle k store where you can get hot foods, hot coffee, fountain drinks, slurpees and even a car wash! The gas station will still be SHELL gas . No more pan handling and bums running the lot. It's ABOUT to be a really nice corner gas n food lot to stop at for a quick fill up or snack even restroom and car wash. Still a work in progress tho, give it 4/5 more months but so far everything has been so fresh and so clean.
Easy to get too. Not a tight squeeze which is good. We'll stocked with the food inside. The man behind the counter was very nice and even offered to grab something off the top rack where the drinks are stored seeing as how I needed to stand on my tippy ties just to get it. The only thing that bothered me was that 3 pumps were out of order.
It is 12:08 right now 10/29/18 at pump #7 and I am out here trying to put in my gas. Not only did this Shell location charge my card $85 but I did not receive any gas whatsoever. I literally just got a small payment and what I had left was taken from me. It’s sincerely frustrating. So I most definitely better receive my refund in full Updated: the problem was resolved between them and my bank. Word of advice ; if you have a cash card only pay for gas inside not at the pump
Cashier has terrible customer service. The type that leaves you wondering how in the world this lady ever got hired. Will not be buying gas here again.
this station is now owned and operated by tooley oil company, a family owned and operated local company that owns and operates many stations in the greater sacramento area and provides fuel and support for many stations in northern california. the company i work for just finished getting brand new dispensers up and running... the new dispensers are now reading the "chip cards" for your added security so keep your credit/debit cards inserted until prompted to remove them. a lot of other improvements are coming including circle k on the inside!
NEW OWNERS are great. Everything is so clean now and everyone working there are amazing. They have made alot of great changes and I look forward to seeing what they do next.
Great place except for the overwhelming amount of pestering you get from the homeless for some change. Cheaper prices I've seen. Right next to a major artery... they have the number one bus stop right there and have alot of food, housing, and shopping options near by.
Filthy and shifty. The place is a haven for bums that panhandle and use the place inside and out as a toilet and place to do drugs. Between this gas station and the neighboring Walgreens, our neighborhood looks like a slum! I buy my gas from gas stations that care about their consumers and their neighborhood.
