Magnolia Building Event Center

I had my rehearsal, ceremony and reception at this incredible venue. The twinkle lights were so magical. The owners were very easy to work with. Anytime I had a question or request, they were quick to respond. I even was able to access the rooftop across the street for some pictures. They turned out gorgeous! Highly recommend!

Currently under a bit of remodeling I think. This place certainly has a lovely view, however it's a trade-off I the expense of convenience and accessibility. One single point of entry, an unclear elevator ride to the top floor via building access. No commercial loading, so I'm pretty sure vendors and caterers are just taking the same residential elevator up with event attendees. I definitely understand that unique venues often weren't build around perfect conditions. But at the premium price they ask for this particular venue, I just don't think the value is there.

Ended up having a beautiful celebration, but the staff really need to get their act together. Told what time to be able yo get in and decorate, but they were not ready for us. Had to come back, well after the noon your, and all staff sitting around on cell phones and not any further than when we were there in the morning. Floor was left filthy until we asked for a broom. Then one staffer did get up and sweep. We decorated, but they were not done doing their job of putting up lights. It did get done and everything turned out OK. I think they need better organization and better management. Our persons being honored should not have had to go through that stress. Hoping they improve and clean the place up some.

Our dance studio, ELEVATE, has loved having the Magnolia Events Center as our dance home for the last year. You cannot beat the 360 degree views, from our great State Capital, historical Automobile Alley to the forever budding downtown. The Magnolia provides a creative atmosphere for young artists to grow or for any event your heart desires.

Its too long for Google but the very short version is: the day before my wedding the elevator broke and they were very passive and dismissive about getting it fixed. The we found out it had been broken for a week and the owners didn't care to do anything about it.

Just went and saw the venue to possibly book it for my upcoming wedding. It’s a beautiful building with its own character and charm and Jennifer was super sweet and super kind!

Everything was absolutely delicious and the staff was very kind. Will definitely be going back!
