We took a Haunted Tpur of Magnolia Garden Cemetery and it was absolutely amazing. The history was so cool and getting to learn so much and see types of graves that I have never seen before was so neat. I highly recommend this tour!
Beautiful old cemetery that you can drive through. Has a confederate memorial that you should not miss. Beautiful old monuments and headstones.
This is one of the Charleston gems off the beaten path. You basically have the 90 some acres to yourself any given day for biking, walking, birding, or settling in for a good book underneath the oaks. The graveyard tells the story of victorian age Charleston as the city excelled post civil war
We did a cemetery tour with Bulldog Tours & tour guide Randy here, and it was wonderful!! We had the best time, and it's a beautiful cemetery rich with history.
Beautiful, peaceful place. Definitely recommend driving through or parking and walking.
Bad service The supervisor was speeding and she said she made the rules like Ginger Click we are family and relatives Ginger Click and me but she almost ran us down and she wasn’t following her own work rules and she was speeding totally not a good cemetery to go to
This was one of the most beautiful cemeteries I have visited. We spend hours here looking at all of the beauty. It was so peaceful and calm. For sure a must see if you enjoy this.
The lady that said she made the rules to this cemetery about run me and my family down and we were just walking on the side of the lane and she came speeding towards us . Will definitely get this reported! She barely missed hitting us !!come to find out she s the superintendent there . She was very mean towards us .
We had a nice historical Peaceful Saturday visit after we had a very enjoyable lunch nearby. The cemetery is a National landmark and well kept. You can walk through both cemetery’s at the posted opening and closing times. The crew members of the historic Confederate Submarine are buried in the rear entrance of the main entrance...a beautiful walk with nature, wildlife, flowers, a pond, no fishing aloud, and a historical history trail weaving throughout the cemetery. You can drive very slowly on the narrow paths, walk or ride a bike. There are so many artistically old and beautiful gravesites and monuments to view from the past. The craftsmanship is beautiful. It was very sunny out today, with a beautiful cool breeze. I’ve posted some pictures from the Magnolia Cemetery and the Bethany Cemetery which are on the same roadway adjacent to each other.
Hands down the coolest cemetery I have ever seen. Great photo ops. Also the biggest I have ever seen. Would be so creepy at night.
