I went there last year and got exactly what I asked for. No problems there. My real problem is this year. I reached back out a little while ago to see about going blonde. I was told it wasn’t possible but that the owner would contact me anyway to speak about it. I was also told it would take a lot of time and money even if it was possible, and I was shrugged off especially after that comment. I have no issue spending however much money I need to on my hair. I think they said it to scare me off, not thinking I had hundreds of dollars to spend and plenty of time as well. Anyway, I never heard from anyone again. I found a salon just around the corner that took me in with open arms, knowing full well it wasn’t going to be an easy task, and they NAILED IT!!! Nevertheless, the ladies there were so sweet and the epitome of kindness and great customer service. Needless to say, I’m blonde now, no thanks to your salon. Thanks for turning me down, I’m actually glad I got to spend my money somewhere else.
Kaitlin did a fantastic job on my hair during my first visit with her. She asked all the right questions that painted a clear picture of the look I was going for, and then she executed it perfectly. She was friendly and gave great hair tips during the service as well. Will definitely be visiting her chair again in the future!Services: Haircut

I moved from Raleigh and needed a hair stylist. I tried a couple salons in New Bern, then checked reviews of Magnolia which looked good. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of service and skill. Maggie King is now going to be my new hair stylist. Update, my hair is now gray and Maggie has continued to perform a great job!
Loved every second! This was my first time getting a service done at magnolia, I was welcomed with such sweet smiles. The environment was very calm and collected. Hannah she was so sweet and engaged in conversations the whole time she was doing my hair. she is very knowledgeable about hair and ways to style and how to use products to keep my new color healthy and bright! The studio itself is kept clean and breathable. I will recommend this salon to anyone I see in need of a service! 10/10 I will be going back again.Services: Haircut

Great salon! I have used three different stylists in the past two years and have been very pleased with each one. The notes they keep on your hair color, cut and your hair in general enables consistency no matter who is doing your hair. The staff are great and do everything they can to accommodate you.
