The shopping center will be mixed-use.DescriptionThe shopping center will be located at the former Greenville Mall location which is at the intersection of Woodruff Road, I-385/Golden Strip Freeway, and Interstate 85.HistoryThe mixed-use development replaced the Greenville Mall which was built in 1978. It originally included JBWhite and Montgomery Ward. In 1995, the mall was renovated and expanded, adding higher-end stores such as Parisian, Drexel Heritage, Williams-Sonoma, Harold's and others. JBWhite was acquired by Dillard's, Parisian was converted into a Proffitt's and the mall lost nearly all of its tenants by the early 2000s.The development was proposed in 2006, the original size was supposed to be over 1300000sqft including Retail, Office, Residential, Hotel, and a theater.
