About

Breakfast and Lunch All Day
Open Daily 7:30am to 2:30pm

Description

We are primarily a scratch kitchen so most menu items are prepared fresh to order. Family owned and operated husband, wife, daughter cousins and friends. Our well designed kitchen is small and we are in the business of making awesome food and providing friendly service, not turning tables. All of our citrus juices orange, lemon and grapefruit are pressed in-house daily. House of Bread Bakery & Cafe in Chatsworth supplies our fresh bread. We use only organic cage free eggs from brown chickens. We use organic produce whenever possible. We use free range organic chickens. Our applewood bacon, hickory ham and smoked turkey is absolutely the best. During busy times some modifications are politely declined. Our Hollandaise sauce is made in-house from raw organic egg yolks. For your convenience, an 18% service charge will be added to 5 or more. Consuming raw or undercooked meats poultry, seafood, shellfish or eggs may increase your risk of food-borne illness (we have to say this). We serve breakfast and lunch all day. There’s parking in the back and side lots. Sometimes we make soup and other stuff. We are open 7am to 3pm daily. Established April 16th 2014. Thanks for visiting with us at Main Kitchen Café.

"Established in 2014.After 15 years managing corporate food and beverage operations for major accounts such as STAPLES Center, Dodgers Stadium, Hollywood Park, Angels Stadium, Wolfgang Puck Worldwide, Radisson Hotels and the USTA National Tennis Center, we quit our corporate jobs to spend more time together as a family. The intention was to rent a catering kitchen and do family dinners for the locals. To get the business going right away, we thought...BREAKFAST! We threw a few tables in and built a counter to eat at. 4 weeks in the word got out that people were diggin' our breakfast and we ran out of food in 2 hours. Over the past 6 years we have expanded, adapted and curated our craft.Courtland & Monica Miller, Owners"

Kept driving by, seeing this place and FINALLY stopped in to give it a try. So glad I did. Food was fantastic. Pancakes were light and fluffy, fruit on top was really fresh. Nancy, our server, was exceptional. Would go back again just for her. Super quaint and clean on the inside, including bathrooms. Outside dining is available. Small parking lot is next to it and there is street parking. Gave it 4 stars because it is a little pricey. Don't get me wrong, it is worth it!! I just can't frequent here as often as I would like to.
I had the tiramisu french toast and it was a divine experience. The fresh fruit is refreshing and has a pleasant coffee flavor. They serve it with a lot of cinnamon butter and I used it all up! I highly recommend and I am coming back!
What a lovely place for breakfast or lunch. Such a positive vibe just walking into this cafe. The food and service, both amazing. We were even asked if our food was tasty. Great service!! Great food!!
Food was fantastic, our server Allison was amazing, so friendly. The food came out fast, had not been back since the pandemic and they didn't miss a beat! Bravo
Fun, yet peaceful atmosphere, great service, and excellent food! The Hemingway Benedict is amazing, and the side of fruit turned out to be lovely fresh berries. Wonderful all around!
Great Breakfast. Top notch food. The service and server Adria was amazing. I recommend this place to anyone that wants a great meal.
Tomato bisque was out of this world Albeit salty for hbp folks.... Wife got the black beans and potato burrito whatever it's called. Your wife said it was pretty bland as burritos go. I tasted it and agreed. The natural flavors of the food is great but nothing was added to it to give it real flavor. The scrambled eggs was cooked with butter. Delightful and delicious. My eggs benedict with bacon and chorizo was pretty good. the brioche it was on top of was delightful
A cozy breakfast spot in Granada Hills, Main Kitchen Cafe never fails. The food is delicious, prepared quickly and served by a super chill staff. The food always tastes fresh and it's easy to tell the ingredients are of a high quality. The seating area is a bit crowded so when it's packed it can be a bit loud but the overall vibe is super inviting and a chill way to spend breakfast time.
We just moved into the area a month ago, and we’ve already eaten there a couple of times. We absolutely love this place. I avoid dairy and gluten and for breakfast I love the avocado toast with gluten free bread. They add lemon to the avocado, and top it with what I think are heirloom tomatoes. So ridiculously good! My family eats whatever and they each ordered something they raved about. And the women who was our waitress was so friendly, funny, and helpful. This is our new go to place to breakfast and lunch.
I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast. The steak was definitely rancid. It smelled bad and tasted worse. It just smelled like old rancid steak. The servers were very polite and apologetic. I switched out the steak with sausage. This was the first time I've ever sent anything back. They did not charge us for the side of toast due to the rancid steak... Other breakfast items were ok. The servers were very nice...I have nothing bad to say about the service but the breakfast was not great... Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for breakfast. Hoping I don't get food poisoning from the rancid steak
