Main Street Cafe

Wanted to try a different breakfast place so I decided to give Main Street Cafe. First impression was not good, parking space are horrible if you drive a pickup or SUV. As I walked in the decor was very dated and there was no theme as they were scattered everywhere. I couldn’t tell if I was in a beach cafe , country diner or a Mediterranean eatery. I ordered the country fried steak and yet again disappointed as this is another place that does not serve homemade country fried steak. The coffee was a bit watered down and lacking flavor. I am happy to support your establishment but feel most locally owned businesses lack with serving homemade food everything is frozen nowadays. Please take this review to make some changes and Im happy to revisit again.

Amazing food! So worth the wait, with front and back patio seating available. Best breakfast you could get anywhere Our waitress was so very sweet and funny. She was an absolute pleasure. We had an amazing meal thanks again Main street cafe

Great service and food at a reasonable price. I had another great breakfast at Main Street Cafe this morning! I just had my standard Bacon and Eggs with some coffee! The girl who served me did such a great job making sure my coffee was filled and making sure I didn't feel alone because I was sitting by myself! Love it!Food: 5/5

Just got introduced to the main street café here in Fallbrook. Got a chance to meet Bernice who is just outstanding! The food was really delicious. My eggs were perfect. The bacon was crispy and the hashbrowns were out of this world. I strongly recommend this place.Food: 5/5

This place is great. Ordered the bacon avocado cheeseburger. Came with 3 long strips of bacon and half a fresh avocado. This is the best burgers in town so far that I've had. Surely I'll be back to try the other items on the menu. Everything was great!Food: 5/5

Food was delicious, warm, needed a bit of salt, fruit was sweet and perfect even tho it's not in season anymore. Fruit consisted of watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe and grapes. I ordered hash browns and breakfast bacon sandwich with Swiss cheese with a glass of oh Jay and a water on the side. The server was in a great mood and very attentive. She was in her late 50s early 60s, very great asset to the restaurant.

Be sure to put this place on your dining list in Fallbrook. Great place to eat. They have an amazing menu with plenty of delicious choices. I had the breakfast burrito. Absolutely mouth-watering. If you order Canadian bacon, be prepared. This stuff is not your thin-cut grocery store variety. The slices are about 1/2 inch thick. Pancakes are the size of a hubcap. The short stack is plenty for breakfast. You definitely won't leave this place hungry.

Visited the cafe during the Avocado Festival with my friends. The food was good, but the atmosphere was not. The owner was making fun of a sick employee with her staff and just couldn’t quit. How unprofessional and childish. Also, the cafe need a good cleaning and makeover. We decided as a group never to go back again.

Came here for lunch with friends who live in Fallbrook. We were seated at a table on the back patio. Charming atmosphere, friendly, attentive waitress who greeted my friends like family. I can see why this is a local favorite. Had a Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger with regular fries. Wow. My friends opted for sweet potato fries. Noted the slices of pie and other pastries in the case as we checked out. Great food.

I had the same experience as another customer Doreen did. Food was delicious and the servers were nice, but the owner was talking badly about other employees. It’s very unprofessional and childish. Owners should be empowering their employees and wanting to make it a happy work place. After noticing this, I now realize why all the employees that were there for years left the place. This place is not the same without them, but good for them. No one should be treated like that.
