Maine Mounted Search and Rescue is Maine's only mounted search and rescue unit. In teams of 2-3 horse/rider pairs, we look for people who are lost.
Our primary mission is to provide a well trained, fully equipped ground and mounted Search and Rescue unit, capable of serving the public as a qualified resource that assists in locating lost, abducted, or missing persons in the State of Maine.
