Worst place to deliver. Appt was at 8. Came in at 7. Lumper fee was 835$. Dock is tight. No overnight parking. Parked at the Walmart up the street. Deliver at your own risk
Tight docks as it can be. I've checked in 1 hour 30 minutes before my appointment time they give a door and started unloading. The unloading fee is expensive. There's no lumper the company itself is charging fees to unload.
Quick unload High lumper and too many charges in case of …… check pictures
I delivered this morning, I was unloaded before scheduled time. Doors are wide open, no problem at backing up to the dock. Charged $80 Lumper fee and $5 for com-check paid by broker, while I was there another driver who missed appointment was charged $300 rescheduled fee. Which is too high I believe.
They unloaded me fast, I checked in 30 before appt time, and was out in 1 and half hours. But they did charge me extra $60 for two broken pallets! I Had no idea but since broker paid for it, I could care less. There is a truck stop 5 miles before you get to them. Good luck and be safe.
This place was made for short box trucks. All the marks and bent guard rail shows it. I wonder how many drivers with sleepers have lost their job, because of coming here. Also I was 5 minutes late, they didn't charge me. 80 to lump whole trailer. No broken skids & shrink wrapped good helps. Bet they didn't gouge me, because I'm nice and being cute helps also!
These guys are conducting a criminal operation. I've been here 5 times. Once I was charged $300 because of broken pallets. Three times I was charged $350 because of "damaged products". I deliver at dozens of places and have damaged product maybe once or twice a year. Other drivers report the same thing. They're doing this on purpose to jack up the unloading fees. The whole management team here should be fired or locked up. Oh yeah, once I had the regular $40 fee. Somebody must have got lazy. Maines corporate hq guys need to clean this cesspool up!
Get here on time if just 1 minute late huge work in fee. Work in fee maxes out at $300. My lumper fee was $440 !!! Very limited truck parking around back if you arrive a few hours early. Put me in dock 45 minutes early and was done 90 minutes later. They rejected 2 cases. One case only the tape had come loose on top of box. The 2nd case had a 2 inch rip in side of box. In both cases, the product was not damaged. I checked in around midnight.
Not sure why all the bad reviews. I got there at 10 for an 0200 appt. Parked in back. Got up at 0145 to check in. They had already checked in 4 trucks and were unloading them. I docked at 0200 with a full truck. I was done by 0300. $80 lumper. The employees told me several places nearby to park at to finish my 10. The dock is tight but other than that i had no issues at all.
Crooks. $490 lumper fee. They charge for everything. $80 extra if you have more than 12 pallets! $50 charge for them to take a picture of the cases they damaged unloading. Extra charge for damaged cases, broken pallets. The shipper didn't put broken pallets on the truck. Their unloads obviously broke them.
