Get yourself to this amazing spa asap! Clean and beautiful with everything you need. Can't wait to go back.
My wonderful husband gifted me the Mother’s Day package. It was to be a manicure, pedicure, and European facial. I wanted to really feel pampered so I booked the appointment a few weeks out so that I would have the opportunity to get all three treatments done at the same time. Upon arrival I explained to Krissy that I had soak off gel polish on my fingers. She acknowledged and then started my pedicure. Without any additional prep to my fingers, I assumed there was some faster method of removing the gel polish than I was aware of. However, when my pedicure ended I was brought over to the next station where I was set up to have my nails soaked. Admittedly, between soaking, scraping, filing, and buffing, it took some time to get the gel polish off. By the time it was off I was informed that I would only be getting a polish change since taking off the gel polish took so long. At that point things started moving very quickly and I felt very rushed. My nails are very thin, weak, and damaged and I knew that going in. But they were clipped all the way down and then filed. I’ve always had rounded fingernails because when they are square they break. They were rounded when I came in. But they were clipped down and filed square without any question or hesitation. A couple aren’t even straight. My nails were then hastily painted and she moved onto the next client who she profusely apologized to for running late. My nails honestly don’t even look professionally done. I could have done better. I’ve never before experienced booking a treatment and then being told that I wouldn’t get that treatment because the person doing it didn’t budget their time wisely. After my non-manicure, I was apparently running late for my facial. Katie was absolutely amazing. I didn’t feel rushed or like she was running late, she was very kind and helpful, and it was a wonderful and relaxing experience. She actually took some time afterwards to talk to me about my skin care routine and products and offered some advice. Despite the amazing experience I had with Katie, and the fact that my pedicure was actually very nice, the entire visit was really overshadowed by the absent manicure and horrible looking fingernails. Oh, and the price difference between a polish change and a manicure is apparently $13. So I was very graciously told I have $13 left on the gift certificate that I’ll likely never use again.
Very disappointed and I haven't even had my service yet. I have a mani and pedi scheduled today and I burnt my hand severely yesterday making it so that I can't have the mani and they will not let me reschedule without charging 50% of my reserved services. Very disappointing that they do not care for the health and wellbeing of their clientele. Evidently I am now having to go to my appointment as to not loose my money. But I never plan on returning and I will be telling about my experience with this buisness.
Yesterday I had a JLo glo Hydrofacial by Kaitlin. It was as advertised. My skin is actually glowing. No make up needed. It got rid of my skin congestion, dead skin and returned it to a dewy glo. I would recommend this to anyone for a real treat and skin health. The staff was very inviting and knowledgeable. Kaitlin made me comfortable and felt right at home. Great way to get ready for the Holidays.
Called Maison Esthetique and spoke directly to the spa manager to inquire for 5 manis and pedis. Was told I would get a call back that evening before she left at 8 pm. Called again on December 10th and left my information with a receptionist who stated she would pass along the message. Still haven't received a call. Have been here several times in the past for massages and mani/pedis. Can't say I would recommend a place that can't be bothered to call repeat customers back.
Disappointed. First time here, won't be back. Drove 45 minutes to get there. The receptionist was not welcoming when I walked in, she seemed distracted and on the phone with someone she knew. The massage was just okay. When I go for a massage, I expect a calming, relaxing experience. The music was never turned on at the front desk, so it was awkward silence the entire time I was there. I asked why no music and was told that the person at the front desk must have forgotten. When I pay for a massage I am paying for the experience too. THe room I had my massage in was cold, because the rooms are in the basement. The heat had not been turned on the table or the room? I could hear the conversation happening in the next room because they had a folding divider wall pulled. On a plus, the steam room/sauna and hot tub were clean and nice, and only one other couple using when I was there so not over crowded. When checking out I was not asked how my treatment was. I felt like just another transaction at check out at the grocery store. The 2 receptionists seemed more interested in the computer/cell phone and other things than the person standing in front of them. This was my first experience here, and my last. I liked the steam room and sauna and hot tub, but not the over all experience. The massage was okay, but not good enough for me to come back.
I had the best experience at Maison Esthetique Saturday. My appointment was with Fiona who is the absolute BEST!! I started with a champagne body scrub with their Vichy shower. It was my first time, and it was amazing. I felt so pampered. The body scrub smelled so good and the treatment left my skin super fresh and soft. Following the Vichy shower, I had a 50 minute deep tissue massage. Fiona is amazing and an absolute master in her craft. After a stressful week, I left the spa feeling relaxed and refreshed. I would recommend booking both treatments without hesitation. I know I’m already looking forward to my next one!
I haven't felt this romantic and relaxed with my girlfriend in a while, but everyone here made it a perfect experience! From the director, to the beautiful ladies at the front desk, from Rose and the other lady who massaged my girlfriend and I, everyone was so nice. I am completely blind, but I was able to forget that while I was there. I purchased the romantic package that cost $300 at the time I went, which came with a $125 Pellana steakhouse gift card, which was also delicious! Everything was clean, bathrobes were soft and clean, restrooms were spacious and accessible. The hot tub was a little too hot for me and I'm not personally a sauna guy, but the steam room was super awesome, especially with a cold cups of water that Rose brought over for us. then we went over to the couples room for massages and they had incredible music, amazing therapeutic massage for both of us, and we both left there super relaxed. I can definitely say this is the best spa I've ever been to across the US. : Definitely will be back soon!
