The dance program of Make It Happen Studios encourages prospective students of all ages and experience levels to come check us out!
Mini All-Stars (Ages 2-5): Children will work on flexibility and strength to improve their coordination and balance. Mini dance routines will be taught to learn the basics of rhythm and musical timing. Perfect for little ones just beginning dance! Students will learn a routine that will be performed at recital and other various events. Children should wear sweatpants or leggings, a comfortable shirt, socks or dance shoes, and hair up if possible.
Kid’s Elite Hip-Hop (Ages 6+): Learn intermediate hip-hop techniques such as tutting, popping, breakdancing, and locking. Students will also be taught two dance routines that will be performed at recital and other various events throughout the season. Students should wear sweatpants or leggings, a comfortable shirt, dance shoes, and hair up if possible.
Cheer Xplosion (Ages 6+): Students will learn basic motions, kicks, jumps, and beginners tumbling to incorporate them into chants, cheers, and dance routines. These routines will be performed at recital and other various events throughout the season. Students should wear shorts or leggings, a comfortable shirt, socks or cheer shoes, and hair up if possible. Pom-poms will be provided.
Hip-Hop Fitness (Adult): Cardio and hip-hop all in one! Learn a fast paced beginner’s dance routine while working out the entire body. Using fun music and moves, you won’t even notice you’re breaking a sweat!
Open Kid’s Hip-Hop (Ages 6+): For kids who are not ready to commit to our Elite Hip-Hop team, this class teaches the basics of hip-hop such as turns, groundwork, and gliding. Students should wear sweatpants or leggings, a comfortable shirt, socks or dance shoes, and hair up if possible.
