Maker’s Loft is a gallery, workshops, and event space dedicated to exhibiting local artists and inspiring creativity in our community. Through partnerships with bay area events, groups, and individuals, we help to illuminate the depths of creativity within our own neighborhoods, foster diversity, and give a voice to marginalized members of our community. With this in mind,we are also pleased to announce the beginning of Maker’s Loft 2017 Workshops and Event Space Rentals!
Here at Maker’s Loft, our latest effort to serve the public includes the upcoming debut of workshops taught by talented local artists for students of all ages and skill levels. Our instructors will lead you step-by-step through projects, lending their expert knowledge to those looking to build their existing skills, explore a new medium, or to just unleash their creativity and unwind. Look forward to opportunities to play with printmaking, figure-drawing, textile-arts, crafts, watercolors, and much, much more!
Maker’s Loft is an intimate art gallery and open floor space located in downtown Oakland. We’re known for our engaging community events and experience so rest assured--you’re in good hands! Maker’s Loft can accommodate your needs no matter the occasion, whether you’re hosting an art show, fundraiser, pop-up shop, retreat, meeting, birthday party, or any other celebration! Maker’s Loft is an ideal space for gathering with our high ceilings, open wall space, and welcoming entrance.

Features & Amenities
Our 800 ft2 of open space can receive up to 70 guests if standing and we can fit 24 dining or seated occupants with our provided tables and benches. Maker’s Loft has a large main room with a smaller room in the back that can be closed off from each other or open as a unit. There is a loading access entrance, restroom facilities, and wifi available for your usage.
