Individuals from the Veterinary Field trying to make a difference by helping all animals however we can. Wildlife, Domestic Pets, Pocket Pets, Large Animal
"the Promise"
This is our Promise to continue the work we started
In 1995 a Veterinarian by the Name of Cheryl Welch opened her practice in New Jersey. In the years to come many of us had no idea the impact it would have in the community around us. The hospital and staff became a resource to many local shelters/ rescues, animal control, local humane officers, individuals, & Native NJ wildlife. As the need grew for help by the veterinary field - we realized we needed to grow and help more. Unfortunately in 2010 - Dr. Cheryl Welch was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and passed away in 2011. With the sale of her hospital and the changing of ownership - many of the staff have moved on - but the desire to keep helping still remains.
So "the Promise" was born - Our promise to continue to make a difference and help however we can -
We will continue to grow our database of individuals in the veterinary field who would like to volunteer their services to help us "make a difference" -
-spay & neuter program
-provide Medical assistance to individuals who meet our program requirements (seniors, low income, victims of domestic violence etc.)
-NJ wildlife aid
