Friendly and helpful one morning, but not as much next time I went in. Maybe it was the day of the week or something was going on. Only one other customer. The person who is inside the customer area most often is always very knowledgeable.
I have 10 guinea pigs, I have bought all kinds of timothy hay from different websites and local stores. The price of the 2tie timothy hay is absolutely amazing and i have no complaints from the pigs no one turns away at all which can happen. All the staff i have interacted with so far have been knowledgeable and courteous. I am so glad i found this place
The only place I'll go for feed. They are incredibly helpful and will even load your vehicle for you. It's also great that they will keep track of previous orders so you can make sure you're getting exactly what you want!

The owners and employees are next level above larger stores! Since getting bird food there my egg production has gone from 3 eggs to 2 dozen like it was 10 months ago! I think Purina put out bad food! No worries now ! Getting quality food from malabar feed!

Edited to add: After Nikole replied so well to my negative review, I went to talk with her. She explained the problem they are having with the supplier for the feed we need, and she went out of her way to order from two different suppliers to give us a better chance of getting what we need. She was super helpful. I've edited the two stars to five stars for their excellent response and helpfulness. I hate to leave a negative review because the people here are great. We have been getting our feed from here recently for our dogs, rabbits, and poultry. We ran into a problem with my Chesapeake Bay Retriever having an immune system disorder, which requires her to have a low protein food. We switched her food and found the Valu-Pak 22-12 was great for her. Malabar Feed and Farm was the only place we were able to find it. We switched her gradually, and she began to get better. Much better. However, Malabar Feed and Farm quit carrying the food. I was told to come in on Thurdays when the shipments came in to get it. For two weeks, I did, and it wasn't on the truck. Now we are out of the food and scrambling to find some other food for her on short notice. That also means we won't be able to gradually change her food. Instead, she will have to switch to a new food we haven't tried yet. Her health issue makes this quite a potential problem. It's unfortunate that we have to source a new food and a new place to get it, because we really liked going here. But we need a one-stop shop for our feed needs that we can count on to have what we need from week to week.
