What a sweet Italian restaurant. Loved everything about it. My husband had the build your own pasta and was able to get a Cajun sauce and crawfish. I had eggplant Parmigiano and it was excellent. Old Downtown Savannah, TNFood: 5/5
Ordered garden salad which was good. But the rosso broccoli and asparagus was disappointing. Very little vegetables and thin asparagus. Maybe not in season? If so, I would have appreciated a heads up. Surprised that an Italian restaurant doesn't serve wine. I asked for ground pepper. None available. Perhaps provide a pepper mill. It is a busy, bustling place and I enjoyed the atmosphere. It has high ceilings.
Ma Ma Fia's East is one of our favorite restaurants to visit. Nestled in downtown Savanah, the combination of good food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere makes it hard to beat by anyone's standards. I highly recommend the Tortellini with your pick from the fresh dessert bar.Food: 4/5
The owner is a jerk typical of his kind. If you have a problem with the restaurant, he will argue about it on the internet. The food is not that good, the spaghetti noodles were not cooked all the way barely warm. The meatballs have no flavor, and I suspect they use low quality meat.

Great restaurant with a friendly staff. Usually, not much of a wait, unless something is happening downtown. The food is good, and in a town where it is the only Italian restaurant, which is a blessing. On my most recent visit, I found they recently added a bunch of homemade cheesecakes to their dessert menu. These are the standouts! I could see stopping by just for a slice of cheesecake in the evening. They were really good.
Wow. That really says it all. Fantastic Veal Parmesan. Delicious desserts. Fair prices and good friendly service. Wow what a find. My wife and I will be back many times.

Pretty good. Desserts were delish. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs and it only came with 2 meatballs. They were pretty big though.
