The rink was okay, melted in the corners and the workers knew but didn't do anything about it. Prices are fine and the rental skates aren't bad. One of the workers, I think their name was Jo, was quite rude to us. Some of our group was teaching others how to skate and she kept interjecting even though we were fine. She also took our walker while we were tightening our skates. Even when we gave a license to use the walker. Lastly, one of our members asked her if he could get his skates sharpened and she said it would take overnight. However, when we asked another worker he did it then and there and it took 10 minutes. Good rink, rude worker.
Great outdoor ice arena. Parking is a bit suspect when there’s been snow.
This place is awesome. The skates hurt your feet though
Gorgeous rink in a gorgeous setting. Easy to get to and easy to park.
Not much to rave about. We went 3 weeks ago post-skiing while there was still sun out - maybe around 4:45pm and we left at 6pm. It was a hotter day, so I wasn't surprised to find half the rink roped off due a layer of water sitting on top. The ice is poorly maintained. It didn't look like they'd cleaned it all day. The rentals are atrocious and dull. I'm pretty comfortable figure skating and I spent my time cautiously pushing/sliding on top of potholes, dings, and general choppiness. It was not worth the money.
The ice wasn't conditioned, very choppy/bumpy. Seemed like it needed to be surfaced. Kids had fun. Guess that's all that mattered.
Not worth the money unless bitter cold. The rink is not maintained and full of melting potholes :
I'm not sure why they don't zamboni more. The ice gets super choppy. But honestly even when they do zamboni they do it super rushed and sloppy.
Never really know when they are open. Been by a couple times and it’s closed during business hours.
It was fun and they had decent rental skates. If you're a beginner be careful the ice can be very choppy.
