Manatee Charter School

My daughter goes to this school, and let me tell you, it's a great school! Her education is tremendous and she has come out of her shell. We truly have had a great experience and I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a quality education. We hope that the school stays open for years to come!

This is the WORST!!! school you can go. The education is poor, teachers don't care about the progress of the kids, you will never know if kids are learning or having problems with the process. There your child can be easily bullied in front of the teachers with NO reaction from them. Have meetings with teachers or principal is a waste of time, they will tell you what you need to listen, no more than that. Classmates stole a phone from my daughter's bag and when I spoke with the Principal Deborah Tracy, she call me back to tell me the mother of the girl returned the phone to the school but nobody in there knows where is the phone....????. Till this moment I'm waiting to know where is the device. Can this be a good reference of the people working there? Last February 16th , my daughter was a bullying victim again in the PE class, she was pushed, kicked, and insulted in the middle of a circle that her classmates did around her. The teacher was looking but he just send her to the office to have ice in her leg, nobody did anything else or calling me or the other parents. I didn't send her back to school because I feel she is not safe there. Almost a week later, nobody from school have been calling me to know if she is OK or coming back to the school. That's what you have at that school. This school is part of the CHARTER SCHOOLS USA, this should be a good place to go, but don't trust in any place just because belongs to this name, the difference between the schools is huge. This institution must to have more attention in the places using their name and logos, this school is not the best example of a good school at all.

Worst school ever. I feel as some of the teachers Do Not care about the students. My son was haven't issues in class, I never received a phone call neither from the teacher or guidance counselor. When I requested to speak to the principle I was asked to fill the form out. Ummmm no, im not filling no form out. It's like a what point does a parent gets informed!?? My son had all F in his progress report card & I was never called to see what was going on. Will not re-enroll my kids there. Horrible school.

I think it is funny how a parent could say it is the schools fault that the child is failing. I have had a wonderful experience and I have been there since they opened. My son was struggling at the beginning of 6th grade. They gave him FREE tutoring and even extra courses to help him pass. And guess what HE DID! Manatee is a new school and had some growing pains. This year they are better than ever and I cant wait to see my son graduate with them! BEST SCHOOL EVER!!!!! Great staff that care about the students.

I went here for some of elementary school. Back when they opened it was awesome! But now that I just came back for 7th grade it has gone worse. The students are very rude and dont like to listen and be careful because you can easily get bullied, some of the teachers are very rude and may not help you. I only like some of ny teachers. A few of the teachers are passionate in teaching. But overall, the choice is yours to come here.

Great school! New Principal and Staff, clean facility, and strong focus on academics and putting students first. I highly recommend Manatee Charter Schools.

This school is the worst!!! My step son has been coming here four years and with the hope it will get better and it gets worse! The office staff is incompetent with the inability to even answer a phone. A parent's worst nightmare!!

Both of my kids attend this school first year and grades have improved tremendously and they give help in the areas your child needs help in

I regret sending my Kids to this school their not happy at all.... the teacher doesn't communicate with the parents and the dress code policy is ridiculous my 6yr son was told to take his jacket off on a cold day and told he couldn't wear it because it wasn't a solid color #Not a happy parent!!

This school is so bad,was there in third grade it was decent but for fourth grade the school food was disgusting and made me wanna throw up like they say they want students to be healthy but the teachers are not healthy their self,and mrs.koutny is a rude teacher that doesn’t put effort as a teacher.All teachers including mrs.koutny is a hippicrit and is always being rude and she had a conference telling my mom I’m bad but mrs koutny has a problem with me like leave me alone
