As always very yummy! We love the owner and her family. It is a family friendly place, with vegetarian options too so everyone is happy.
Not a very big menu but it doesn't have to be because the food is great. Complimentary hot tea and food is very reasonably priced. Service is also very good.
Says been a staple of aims for a long time. Lunch time is very slow. The service was good the server was very friendly and knowledgeable have been there for a long time. The food was very good I just did not like the variety of the menu. Personal preference. Not enough hot and spicy
Food is pretty good and portions big. However, according to some Chinese colleagues of mine it is not exactly food the way it's made in China. The staff are nice and our waitress very attentive. Unfortunately, their men's room needs work. The toilet is leaking where it connects to the wall and when you flush, toilet water runs out from under it and towards your shoes and pants. I barely avoided getting my pants soaked.
We love to go here! I have food issues, and I know that they don't use MSG, so I'm safe mostly. They food is hot and fresh, no matter the time of day. The staff is friendly and nice. They remodeled and expanded the restaurant last year and it is just gorgeous!!
Delicious, home made Genuine Chinese food. Sit down for a friendly stay, or get Fast take out with any of their item menu items. There's a reason they've been rated Best in The County, for a decade!
Best Chinese food in Ames. True fried rice, great crab Rangoon’s. Restaurant is clean and take out has always been fast. I have not eaten in the dining room but it appears to be very clean. Recommend the shrimp fried rice.
We've come twice now for Saturday lunch. Both times excellent service, delicious food. Complimentary tea served with the meal. We had green bean chicken and Mongolian beef. Both piping hot, generous servings and flavorful. I usually prefer hot and sour soup, but egg drop was the soup of the day and it too was delicious. Added bonus - nice, quiet and cozy.
Very nice restaurant with amazing staff. The food is absolutely delicious and it's nice that they will take out or substitute an ingredient for you. Our family goes almost monthly or more and the general consensus is to always get the Sizzling Rice Soup.
We came for lunch and had a great experience. The food was excellent and served in a quick manner. The staff was very helpful and went out of the way to make the lunch enjoyable. There is adequate parking in the rear of the restaurant and easy access to the street. Glad we decided to try Mandarin.
