The Manhasset Bay Protection Committee is an inter-municipal group of 13 villages, the Town of North Hempstead and Nassau County focused on improving water quality in the Bay.
The Committee was founded in 1997
Improve water quality in Manhasset Bay and through out the watershed via public education, outreach and participation, and governmental action and cooperation.
Involved government, an aware and active public, clean waterfor swimming, fishing, sailing, and a rich habitat for living organisms
