"The Mankato School of Music has been around since 1978 specializing in lessons in numerous instruments! We strive to provide scholarships to as many students as possible and partner with area schools and programs around Southern Minnesota. Our alum include Peter McGuire of the Minnesota Orchestra and IBMA award-winning artist Becky Buller."

I gifted my son with 24 private lessons, learning the basics of 4 instruments, 6 lessons for each instrument. We have been working for the last 9 months with Brent and it has been a wonderful experience! My son has really enjoyed the lessons, personalized for him and the kindness of the staff. Brent has been very flexible with our schedule and overall a wonderful and caring teacher. We are so thankful we found this opportunity close to home!
My son started piano lessons here a few months ago and he loves it. His teacher is great and has great communication if anything comes up for scheduling changes. Everyone we've interacted with both in person and through email/phone/text have been so nice and helpful. Very happy with our decision to send him here for lessons.
MSOM is a wonderful place to start learning. I'm an adult that has just picked up Violin and they have been very supportive. Meghan W is a fantastic teacher and is so patient. I look forward to my future classes with her!
We took a summer fiddle class here. My daughter was inspired to start playing again. She is going to go here in the fall for sure. I recommend it for all people who need excellent violin teachers.
When we requested mandolin lessons they were willing to hire a local instructor who has sparked a love of playing music in our 12 year old daughter that we never knew was there! Our 9 year old has been with the Mankato School of Music for two years and looks forward to her violin lessons each week! The staff are very encouraging and accommodating.
The Mankato School of Music is a fantastic musical community dedicated to their students success. They focus on nurturing a lifelong love of music!
Attended a spring recital this afternoon. What a talented group of students. Mankato school of music does such a great job inspiring today's youth to learn and master their skills in musical instruments and voice. Keep up the great work teachers.
