The staff currently taking care of my uncle is very patient and caring towards him. The nurses and CNAs communicates and keep me update on his living activities. When I visit I observe the surroundings and I see the other residence appears content, clean and taken good care of. My father and aunt was previous residence of this facility years ago and we were satisfy with their professionalism, knowledge and caring ways. I recommend this facility for your love ones that may be in need of skill nursing care when home care is no longer an option.
I just want to say I appreciate everyone who works here, They are very understaffed but they're doing the best they can to take care of the residents. A lot of people complain , but I don't think they understand the circumstances. We visit here a lot and this place is our family! And we love every one here! May God Bless and watch over them all !!
Kudos, kudos and more kudos!!!!! My grandmother, Charlotte S., was a patient for over a year. She started in rehab and then moved to long term skilled nursing. I have worked in nursing for over 30 years and I have to say the nurses, cna's, activities staff and PT department were exceptional. My grandmother was cared for, shown love and compassion and they took the time to make sure she ate, was always dry and her bed was made neatly. They also took the time to ensure she was participating in activities. We've met very nice employees and thank all of you for your wonderful care.
The staff are always so kind and polite when I am here. You can tell the residents and their guests are top of mind and TOP OF HEART FOR THESE FOLKS. The space is clean and orderly - no clutter, things in the way, or bad smells. Easy access location as well!!! I am so pleased with all of their local sites. Each is unique but they are all striving toward excellence!!!
The care has gone down hill the food is terrible and now they want to charge more! My mom sits in a filthy diaper for hours! They take her whole social security check except for $45. And now I have received a letter stating they want $400. More I can't afford that. And with the horrible care and food what do they expect. So what are they going to throw her out on the street if she can't pay? We can't get home care because thats to expenssive what are the elderly to do Something needs to change with all these nursing homes .All the great nurses have left due to having to get a shot they don't want! This is so unexcepable. Time to call the news stations on the care and cost!
My dad is in York North. The nurses are so nice. When I have a concern, I've been able to get help. We have had issues w/cold food. This has been the best thing for my dad.
I have never encountered such an abysmal facility as this one. While visiting my grandmother, at least 3 nearby residents were calling out “someone, please help me” because they needed to use the rest room. No one ever came to help them, even though staff passed by. I waited 30 minutes for someone to help my grandma use the restroom. When no one came for 40 minutes, I stood by the nurse desk until someone would help. None of the employees moved with any haste. None. Meanwhile, at least 3 people were screaming for help THE ENTIRE TIME. While waiting at the nurse desk, I overheard 2 CNAs making disparaging comments and jokes about my grandmother about not helping her earlier in the day those talking did not know I was there for her. When I confronted them, they looked shocked. Now I realize CNAs are a dime-a-dozen, and don’t generally reflect a level of notable professionalism. However, this was beyond a mere lack of professionalism. Those I observed at this facility lacked basic decency and compassion. My bar is so low for these types of facilities, but my time here left me absolutely stunned and disturbed.
Everyone in the emergency room was very patient and caring for my mom even with her mental state. I give them a lot of credit for the tasks that they have to deal with.
Everyone one working there were 1 friendly 2 smiles 3 very helpful I am a retired BMET from JHMI so I have an eye for things This is a very well run place.
People that work there are nice and respectful. The place itself could use a little TLC especially in the rooms where you sleep.
