I bought this as a gift for my wife and mother in law on Groupon. To schedule, they want a credit card up front online to even make an appointment and say "don't be late, you won't be double charged." When they arrived they had to fill out a form about the discount they received and "not taking advantage" and also requested, required? a good tip as "tip is income" and they make "no money" on the Groupon deal. Understandable but poor taste and a horrible first impression. Then during the massage, she has very strong hands, but both said they felt like they were being manhandled instead of being massaged. My mother in law has had leg pain after requesting the lady stop working on the back of her knee and she didn't stop - which as a trained massage therapist herself is not an area that should ever be touched. Some of it was amazing but overall they felt uncomfortable about the whole thing and would never go back or recommend.
This was probably the worst experience I ever had with a massage place and I've been to those places in the mall that are $10 for 10 min. I had a groupon for $39 for a one hour massage. I made the appointment before the groupon expired, and when I got there I was told that the groupon had expired 4 days ago. WIth groupon it doesn't matter as long as you make the appointment before expiration. When I spoke up pointed these things out, the owner became unresponsive and refused service. I will NEVER be patronizing this "hooptie" of an establishment again.
Went here with a Groupon deal. They make you pay an extra $8 in tax which ive never had to do before with a Groupon. The set up is very basic, the table is behind a curtain. Whenever the lady at the front amswered the phone it was right in my ear. The masseuse was a plump asian lady with fingers of steel. This was probably the most painful massage I've ever had. Come here if you like your deep tissue massage extra firm. Oh and they also mentioned that because I went through groupon, I got less oil... whatever that means.
