Craving Mexican food we discovered this literal hole in the wall just walking back to the car. Best decision we made was to stop by and check it out. Immediately as you walk in you are greeted by the charming traditional decor and homey warmth you get when visiting Mexico. The food was fairly price but absolutely delicious. And our waitress Ana was beyond amazing. We have decided this will be our new go to. If you like Authentic Mexican foods and flavors you must check this place out. Thanks you guys at Manuelito’s for an amazing experience!!
My husband and I stumbled upon this hole in the wall and we were not disappointed. We bought two taco plates de lengua asada and carnitas made with tortillas made by hand I also bought a sope which was HUGE and an horchata. Pros: Tortillas made by hand were authentic and delicious , lengua was juicy felt like it was steamed and could be even better with a tad bit of salt. Asada was okay good seasoning but lacked juicy ness. Carnitas was light and flavorful while still maintaining some crunch. Highly loved the horchata, it’s light and not too sugary. The sope was really big see pictures I was expecting a small sope but this could of been it’s own meal. Cons: Service is a bit slow, I was there alone and still took some time but not too bad. Seasoning on some items require a little bit flavor. Overall my husband and I will be coming back to try more things on the menu.
This place always comes up as an option in a delivery service provider and decided to try them. Their wet burrito was ok, while the sauce was flavorful. The pozoles, on the other hand, was incredibly disappointing. It lacked flavor and the flavor it did have tasted like excess fat from the meat. After dumping about a quarter cup of Rooster Sauce cayenne pepper hot sauce the soup came to life. At least all the toppings supplied were fresh. They did have other soups I wouldn't mind trying but do not believe I could justify the cost of getting it delivered. Maybe when I'm near by....maybe.
Delicious, very flavorful sauces and salsas, corn tortillas are great, vegetarian options, and prompt service. Charming interior. I said completely the wrong thing in Spanish and she just let it slide, no acknowledgement at all.
Super friendly people, nice place, great good! The employees took the time to explain their top choices to order, even gave us a taste sample of a couple of things, they were some of the most friendly staff I've seen. Food was delicious, I can't believe I've never been here before!
This place has probably got the tastiest Mexican food I've had in LA. I like their ribs, their nopales, and obviously their hand-made tortillas. Ten out of ten. Would def recommend.
Great Mexican restaurant. Their menu has huge variety of dishes. Order barbacoa, Birria, tacos, Arrachera, Champurrado and the order took almost 50 minutes. Service was polite and friendly, but seem they don't have enough people. Food tasted good. I will for sure come back and try their rest of their menu.
The order taker didn't understand my order. I showed her on the menu but she bought me a burrito. Had to wait 20 minutes or so. The food was okay. Tiny containers for salsa. The tortillas was horrible. Never saw them made like that!
This is the most disorganized restaurant, I have ever seen. Waiting time to take food out More than an hour. Mind you food was ordered on line, an hour before arrival. Food still was not read for an hour. Avoid, avoid , avoid this restaurant. LoL
I come here maybe once a week. I love the tacos al pastor. Those are my favorite
