A very unfriendly and unwelcoming town. People throughout Tillamook county that I have met comment on how much they dislike Manzanita, and now that I've lived here for about 5 years, I agree with them.
Right downtown, get your permits, ask about ordinances, etc. If your new to the area check out the Visitors Center down Laneda Avenue across from Ocean Inn.
Called the number listed - " no long in use, goodbye". Not very helpful.
