Mapes is the oldest store in Narberth and the oldest variety store on the Main Line. Having been established in 1897, we are proud of the fact that customers who once shopped here as children, today bring their children and their children’s children along as they shop.
We are one of the largest independent variety stores in the Philadelphia area, keeping pace with the chains for our merchandise requirements.
Mapes started out as being a family owned and operated business and remains a family owned and operated business today, which adds additional flavor to the image already projected.
