I have been working in oils for over 40 years focusing mainly on the surrounding landscape.
I work from my home studio and very often you will find me alongside a roadway with sketch book and camera in hand. Occasionally, working "en plein aire" gives me an opportunity to see nature in a different light than when working from sketch or photograph. My work is representational with an impressionistic feel. Having moved many times through many different states due to my husbands job, painting is a way for me to bond wit wherever life takes me.
