Marconi's Pizza Food Truck

LOVE this place, super cheap and great quality food. Def would recommend to anyone. I got the lunch Special two slices and half order of bread sticks Sauce is AMAZING! and Large Caesar Salad. They have really good homemade Greek dressing, but I LOVE the homemade ranch dressing too.

I go here about twice a month and usually get the Geno. The giardiniera Marconi peppers here is top notch. As a Chicago native this pizza really strikes home as it tastes like an incredibly delicious take on Italian beef pizza. I can say without a doubt this place uses great ingredients. The cheese blend is by far my favorite compared to the other places around here. The square pizza always has a perfectly crispy golden crust. The pizza prices are higher than other places but it is well worth it. This place is does pizza right.

Marconi's was a disappointment. First they were 30 minutes late. Second our pizza was burnt. They try to be a gourmet version of Jets or Papa Romano's. The prices seemed a bit high especially considering the quality of service.

This is my go to place every week and they never fail me Absolutely brilliant and friendly staff who make you feel like part of the family and that is with the fact that they do not even do dine in Their Detroit thin and deep dish style crusts are to die for A definite recommendation from me

This review is for their food truck, which I tried yesterday in The Village of Rochester. $12 for two slices of pizza, half order of cheese bread, and a drink. Would have been okay if the pizza was good, but it was decent at best. We got the veggie because for some reason both slices have to be the same kind, and it was floppy and just tasted like... Pizza. The sauce wasn't anything special, the crust was greasy and not seasoned well or anything, the toppings were fine -- at least the mushrooms were fresh and not canned. The cheese bread, however, is great. Again, it was REALLY greasy, but it's also cheese -- and lots of it. If I come back or to the store locations, it'd be just for the cheese bread. I'm glad I tried it just to get it out of my system because the Rochester Hills location recently opened, but I'd gladly go to one of the many other pizza places in the area before coming back. I wrote this review on Yelp initially, and the owner or one of them? almost immediately reached out to me ensuring that my experience was not representative of their restaurants, claiming that tighter quarters and the time crunch lead to the lower quality of food. To that, my response is this: if you can't make your food truck -- which serves the same exact food as your restaurant locations -- food as good as the restaurants, then you shouldn't have a food truck. I've been to many food trucks that have food better than I'd find in a restaurant; the space and time frame you're working in shouldn't matter if you're capable of producing good food.

About a month ago I placed an order for delivery. Quickly got a call that they were short staffed and couldn't deliver. No worries... we offered to pick it up. They said they would remove the delivery charge and tip from our card. They not only charged us for delivery and tip, they forgot our bread sticks, and double charged us for a 2 liter. As soon as the charge went through on my card for the wrong amount, I spoke with the manager many times and also the deli ery service. I was told by Carmoni's that we had a credit on our account. We called last week to place another order and there was no credit to be found. The pizza is good but the service needs a lot of work.

So we ordered our pizza, were told we could not get a thin crust in medium but only in a small or large. So we ordered a large. We asked for half pepperoni and half veggie. We ended up with ,2square pizzas. My husband liked his, but the outside crust on mine as charred and there were very few veggies on it. We have had their pizza before and really liked it but we're disappointed today. Sorry, we will give it another try.

I called today after I saw a great deal $10 large vegetarian pizza. I wanted to swap one of the toppings I didn't like with another veggie and they said they can't customize the pizza. I said, ok...... and decided to get pizza hut down the street which fortunately turned out AMAZING! Thanks for not switching out my veggies, Carmoni's!

We order anywhere from 5-10 pizzas + salads, breads etc...for office lunch about every other week. The salad is good, the pizza is EXCELLENT; however, this location seems to struggle a bit with communication or operations. Our order is always missing at least one item. Also, we stick with Carmoni's as we have several vegans in our office who exclaim their vegan cheese is BOMB. Unfortunately, this location has the most trouble with the vegan pizza. I complete the exact same order ONLINE, in writing every time. Sometimes it comes as a 'veggie pizza' with real cheese and today it came without any toppings....even though the site states it has toppings...So...overall, good experience. Some possible staff/operational issues.

Marconi's is our new go to pizza place in the town of pizza Rochester. Their thin crust deep dish gives you the deep dish taste without all the dough. They run a lot of deals as well that help keep the cost down and their staff are always super nice when ordering and picking up!
