Went to see "The Invitation" here with my daughter. A bit different than the Madison area cinemas we're used to, but we enjoyed the movie, the popcorn, and the reclining lounge seats. The theater was a bit darker than the cinemas we are used to going to, and the staff were pleasant, if not a bit odd, which is always preferred by me at least. People just aren't interesting if they're not at least a little weird in my opinion. God knows I sure own my share of strange. We had fun, and would definitely come back again in the future.
The movies are still good. The theater was dirtier than typical. Don't think you are getting a good deal on the bucket popcorn, NO REFILLS PEOPLE NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Then if you need anything after a movie, while other movies are STILL PLAYING - NOT THE LAST SHOW OF THE NIGHT - GOOD LUCK FINDING ANYONE & IF YOU DO GOOD LUCK IF THEY SPEAK ENGLISH. You know they make AMERICANS learn Spanish down South, well then the Spanish speaking people need to learn ENGLISH UP NORTH IT IS OUR PRODOMINANT LANGUAGE. At least teach them MANAGER AND TO GO GET ONE WHEN SOMEONE SAYS MANAGER. THIS WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT A MARCUS THEATER EVER. And my 1st job when I was younger was at a movie theater. This theater is NOT BEING MANAGED WELL AT ALL. And the employees need both more training on customer service and English. At this point if it going to be so awful going to theater I might as well wait and watch on my big screen at home. Better customer service, cleaner, friendlier & more popcorn.
I really liked going to the movie "smile" with my girlfriend! It was a very fun experience and the popcorn was yummy! The price was nice, especially on a $5 Tuesday. Overall great experience and it was fun watching my girlfriend jump high in the air from the jump scares!
The seats are comfortable and it's not a bad place to go. The staff has always been pretty good
Always a great experience. Friendly staff and great theaters. Always love the reduced Tuesday showings
Very comfortable seating. Ability to pick your seats and see which are taken ahead of time. Great concessions. Good temperature.
First time there, will definitely go back. Loved how I could pre pick my seats online.
Bathroom was dirty and people can be rude. It’s the little things like “No FoOd oR DriNkS FrOm OUtside AlLowEd!” but charging an insane amount for a small soda! No other workers have ever complained about my coffee so why now? Also recommend cleaning your bathroom more often, it absolutely reeked and everything was dirty. Not sure if I want to come back to this location anymore.
I have been here twice, each time the employees are rude, I did have a few that where polite, plus a bit over priced I could make popcorn and a soda for a 1/16 of the cost, honestly only good theater is in Portage $5 a ticket any movie on Thursdays food and drink are cheaper and I have never been talked down too from them. Shame.
Always a great time. Go back to the movies, I know it's been awhile. I had so much fun with dad, brought back so many memories. Thank you for sticking out covid, your community appreciates all of you!
