The worst place to work for! Stay clear of this place racist to black women. Jamila is very rude and doesn't know how to talk to her employees. She is probably the worst person I have ever worked for. With poor management skills. Lacks the capability to listen and to self-reflect on the things she says and Does! Shows no type of remorse. She will do this behind close doors because she doesn’t want people to see her true nature. People will tell you who they are. You just have to listen and observe. Don’t be fooled by her façade! Micro-aggression here is insane. This place needs to be held accountable for the lack of respect they have for people of color. Hopefully this review changes the dynamic of this place It’s sad to even be writing this review. Because, the CEO story of how she started from the ground up is inspiring. However, she allows a toxic environment, and that’s not women empowerment! For someone to start at so little, you would think she would humble herself. To care about the nature of her employees. Especially for this place to be in Berkeley. You would think there would be A LOT more empathy. However, what goes around comes around. Time will tell!

I tried on many items before making my final decision. The item I chose required ordering my size from another store. Jamila and Isabel were helpful and patient throughout my shopping adventure. It was a pleasure shopping with them at the 4th St. store. I’ll be back again.

Sales person mentioned the promotion when I entered, and then all but ignored me. I wanted to try on a pair of pants, but she was too busy at the computer. After a few minutes, I left empty-handed, even though I saw some items I liked
