One of my favorite places in the Long Beach area.  Across from Marine Stadium, it's a large park with tennis courts, kids' play area, nice palm trees and lush green grass.  Well-placed and clean public restrooms as well.  You'll often find local people out on their fitness walks, kicking a soccer ball around or hosting a large picnic.  Especially fun on 4th of July, Memorial Day, etc.  But come early to get a good spot!  Also a great spot for walking your pup!

Great large park for the family. Be aware though that there are several sports activities going on at the park such as soccer or rugby. Nice breeze as it's next to body of water.

They got a Bluegrass band playing at the Farmers market with an assortment of food vendors in Marine Stadium's park!

This park would get 6 stars if not for the City of Long Beach’s ridiculous homeless people issues and lack of policy controlling them.  On some mornings there are multiple homeless persons camped out in sleeping bags under the trees.  Mere yards away from $1M+ homes adjacent to the park.  I was even assaulted by one of them while walking my dogs. After calling the police, no action was taken and the homeless person camped there all day for all I know, probably harassing school children, etc. City of LB has the highest f-ing sales taxes in the US.  Where does that money go?  Do something about our homeless issues.

Great park home to Belmont Shore youth rugby club and is a pretty large park. The beach is literally across the street and always has a nice breeze. Defiantly recommend this park if you are looking to take a walk with your dog.

The kids love the trees for climbing,  it's right by the farmers market and there's a beautiful new restroom too. Lots of room to run.  Covered play structure for younger kids. Tennis courts as well.

Love walking my dog to this park. Everyone is pleasant and the park is well maintained. My dog enjoys watching all the people and activities happening.

Nice smaller local park. parking is free  and you’re close to the marina, walk/ bike paths.  great location!

This is a nice open park with lots of trees, a playground and restrooms.  There is a small free parking lot that tends to fill up on weekends, but with a bit of patience and persistence parking can also be found in the surrounding streets.  On a side note, the marina is available and accessible by walking right across the street.  However, there are a lot of rocks and some litter that you will have to contend with.

Great park, grassy and lots of shade under the trees. Nice little parking lot next to the playground. Lots of street parking, unless there is an event and it gets quite full. Gorgeous view of the marina.
