Little gem of a place. Very clean bathrooms & showers. Beautiful views. Friendly staff & seasonal campers & dog friendly. Playground: Cute little playground for kinds Restrooms: Very clean. Dog-friendliness: Many seasonal campers have dogs too & a little play area Picnic area: Nice sheltered picnic area near the office.
This is the friendliest camp I've ever seen! The owners were always willing to help. We arrived late, but they waited for us and prepared firewood for us. They have all the basic services, with water, electricity, sewage, washroom, and hot showers. The night was very quiet, allowing us to have a comfortable evening.
First off, I need to preface this review with a few facts: we were camping in the middle of the week and it was before the Atlantic Bubble was opened. Definitely not peak busy camping season. Now that's out of the way, we really enjoyed our stay. The campground and town are very quiet. Perfect place to relax and not be running around doing all the touristy stuff. The seasonal campers also pooled some $$ and bought some fireworks for Canada Day. It was great. Our kids loved it. The only downside to the Nackawic area is the mill effluent. It stinks. But doesn't always blow toward town or the campground. Of the three nights we stayed, we only smelled the mill on the last night after a brief thunderstorm. We will definitely be camping there again. Lastly, because of the weird timing of our visit, I felt that I couldn't fully review this campground because we didn't get to see it at peak season. Therefore I can only give it 3 stars. I will update this review after we camp there again.
Great atmosphere, friendly owners, very clean, large lots. On the river and 5 minutes to the grocery store
It was a last minute choice to come to this camp ground we were at the end of our vacation, and coming from an awful campground, to find the owner had prepared our site prior to our arrival. He is a great man and has a very nice campground I could not believe the space we had and nobody is on top of one another. Close to the water with great people. I would say this place is a well oiled machine.
Mariner's Point is a quaint little RV and camp ground. George, the owner is friendly and very accommodating. It's located just a few minutes off the main highway and is a convenient little spot for an over night stay. There are showers on site and a play ground for younger kids, there is also a small off leash fenced area for dogs.
Owner was super friendly. Set up our site ahead of time with a dog Bone adapter and a water pressure regulator. The site used to be a gravel pit I think, but it's been an RV park for 10 years. Sites are small, but it's a great place to stay for a night or 2 when going across canada. The scenery is better here than up in town. the lake was a nice highlight. We were able to collect a huge load of wood from the beach for our campfire. Robins donuts just up the road for morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Would stay again!
terrible experience. Too expensive for a night with unbelievable bad roads access detour of 11 km due to bridge closed Water was probably contaminated as the color was redish and the spot offered for the premium cash price close to the end of campground near the dumped rusted equipment, boat, all junk collected in years, was not used for long time showing the water valves were not used for years... I think the high 4 stars reviews are misleading and are biased . Definitely I do not recommended and definitely I would suggest double check and think twice before booking and paying for this place
Absolutely disgusted. We were only to stay for one night on our drive/move across Canada with our small child, and this was the only place we could find with a spot available, however we were turned away for not having a vaccine passport for an OUTDOOR campground. We have our own trailer with bathroom/shower & kitchen, and were simply stopping for a sleep. It's not mentioned on their website, the government website, nor did they mention it over the phone when we spoke to them. To be honest when we pulled in I nearly nearly gagged with the stench, so perhaps it was for the better anyway. * whoever my husband spoke to was also not wearing a mask when they were in the office together.
We love the marina that is nestled in an inlet protected from wind and waves.
