I had gotten a $20 voucher from Groupon I paid for. That's how I found out about the restaurant. I'm don't know much of this area of Bossier; so I wasn't really used to anything here. The first thing I found wrong with the business is that their sign is much too small and easily missed. So, we passed it accidentally, but then had to turn around. It's connection along a small strip mall of other businesses and seems to serve/cater to a nice small Hispanic community. The atmosphere is okay, not too bright, too dark, welcoming, but it was loud becuase we were seated right in front of radio and it was bothering my mother's ears behind her. We asked to sit somewhere else, but the nice waitress just turned it down. We felt bad becuase it was a mostly Hispanic setting, and since we were the only ones not of their heritage, I didn't want them thinking we were ignorant or anything. We just wanted another table. The size of their cups for drinks will definitely make you feel like you got your money's worth, but their lemonade was VERY strange. I can't describe the taste. The food didn't take long to get, but I was disappointed in the bread shrimp. When biting through, the shrimp either didn't want to come out or it tasted too rubbery, and my shrimp looked slightly burnt. I was presented with a nice salad on the side automatically coming with a side of ranch, but there was no dipping sauce for the shrimp. Fries were nothing special. Salsa was unique and great. The chips along with it were kind of too hard and thick. Not impress with the food 4 stars for service and honoring the Groupon Voucher.
My favorite Mexican restaurant in the Tri-Parish area so authentic sometimes it's hard to find a staff member that speaks fluent English LoL but you do get great service great food and most of the time some of the best chips around
Took my Grandson here for dinner! Very courteous service, Fantastic Authentic Cuisine. We ordered the Fajita for Two, More then we could eat!
This so beautiful I ever have I rate 5 because my husband like wile I'm open my husband like so much he told me have small that he can use for he's shot,.it's really nice and looking good in and out,..thank you seller
Very poor service. The shell on the taco shell was stale. Beef in both of our meals were tough and tasted like the grill had not been cleaned. Chicken in my dish was dry and chared and the tortilla was gummy. Manager could have cared less that there was a problem. Worse Mexican restaurant that I have been to in my travels and the most expensive
Best Mexican Restaurant in the area. They have your normal Mexican dishes but also have a good variety of seafood dishes. Their prices are reasonable especially at their lunch special. I definitely recommend this little restaurant. Update: I have noticed inconsistencies of how spicy the different dishes are from visit to visit. My husband loves spicy food but I have to go with a mild dish and the last few visits even the cheese enchiladas were too spicy. This kinda makes it hard to go there now.
My wife and I totally enjoyed our first visit! The food was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the food arrived quickly. We will definitely be back soon. Also, very quick and easy to get to from downtown Shreveport, where we work.
The food here was ok. If you like truly authentic Mexican food, you will be pleased. The margarita was terrible. It tasted completely like syrup. The chips and salsa were ok. The steak meat was the best part of the whole meal.
We had a Groupon to try this place out. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. I enjoyed the chips which are thick cut, and the salsa which was less tomato-ey than a lot of places. The beef torta was so good, as well as the chicken enchiladas. My partner was not expecting bay leaf in the enchiladas so he did not like that, but I did. I highly recommend the tortas. The fries that came with the sandwich did just taste like frozen grocery store fries but what can you expect ordering fries at an authentic Mexican restaurant. The menu is fairly extensive and they have a ton of great looking seafood dishes. Overall this was a good experience and the staff were kind and attentive.
Friendly and helpful wait staff
