Marisol has worked in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years. At the age of 14, she started a fashion modeling and music video career, working with noted artists of the 90's and appearing on MTV and VH-1. While living and working full time as a fashion model in her native Miami and later New York, she learned the art and craft of makeup and hair. After her move to Los Angeles to work on a popular fashion line, she became a celebrity hair stylist and makeup artist in Beverly Hills. In 2008 she opened her own shop in Manhattan Beach, California. To this day, she works with several top fashion photographers and video directors, offering a unique perspective on the style and movement of actors based on her time in front and behind the camera.
Marisol & Co. Hair & Makeup in Manhattan Beach is a boutique, one-on-one environment where clients can relax and enjoy a less hectic hair and makeup experience. Set to the side with little hub-bub, clients leave Marisol feeling rejuvinated and refreshed. Treatments such as Brazillian Blowout, Hair Coloring, Color Weaves, Cuts, and Color Restoration and Wig Restoration for men and women post chemotherapy treatment are offered. Makeup applications are also offered for special occasions. When she's not working on a photo shoot or video consult, Marisol is also available for weddings, proms and bar and bat mitzvahs.
