A drop in to the Floral Dept and a conversation with Abby turned out to be the best decision ever for a few arrangements needed for a home party. They have a plethera of bouquets and ready made arrangements but after answering a few questions of what I liked, didn't like, general color theme, and a lot of I have no ideas from myself, Abby created these gorgeous arrangements in time for my event. My home smelled wonderful and the flowers lasted longer than most. I've since made sure my husband knows where to go and who to ask for when he's inspired to bring home something more than the typical eggs and milk request. :-
Everything and everyone was so very helpful. I was visiting the produce section and the gentleman there was doing this thing and took time out to ask Can i do anything for you or help you find something. Refreshing to have an alternative to the Big Box store. Thank you!!
Love the store, writing this review specifically to address the salad bar/hot meal area. I understand the shortage In staff so it’s not always up and running, but today when my grandmother went to simply get a chicken caesar salad from the service salad bar, the female employee that help her was incredibly rude, didn’t know how to make it and just overall was so bothered that she was asked to actually do her job. I was called and had to tell the ingredients so the information could be relayed and yet it was still made wrong. I love the salad bar from here and it usually is a decent amount for a good price, I got about 1/2 of what I usually do slapped on a random plate. I would just hope they put the recipes back in the bar I suppose and show the employees hope to run the salad bar. I understand everyone had bad days but no reason to treat my grandmother so rash and abrasive
Christena in the floral department just knocked it out of the park. Needed blue flowers for my friend's opening day of her musical. It is tomorrow and nobody' but NOBODY at any florist shops could help me.i called and asked for the floral dept. I got a miracle worker. Now I have this wonderful bouquet to gift her in her green room. Pics will be posted in a minute. Gj, homegirl. I will get all my flowers from you -Jody
Why is this grocery store so freaking awesome?! It has everything you would ever want? The fruit is bangin. And the parking is good.
One of the best local market n Coppell area. The selection of items are at par with some of the best. Pricing wise I have no complaints although they are just a tad higher than Krogers of the world. Self check out experience is exactly like Walmart.
Always a nice experience. Well maintained parking lot. I enjoy that they have a variety of foods. I do miss the independent coffee and bakery at the corner checkout. Now that it has been replaced by Starbucks, I stop in less often.
I visit this store pretty much everyday to get fresh produce and bakery. The staff is very professional and friendly and always ready to help. The store is clean and the wine section has a decent selection. The bakery has good artisan bread and also offers birthday messages on cake purchases. Lots of good cheese as well, from as far as France and Italy. The cafe section offers a variety of fresh food to select from and they even have a sushi bar. You can also get a variety of fresh flowers at this store at very reasonable prices. Check it out yourself!
I stopped here a few days ago to see about ordering a cake for my moms birthday and I believe the woman’s name was Felicia. She greeted me at the bakery and had the best smile. I can’t tell you how great of help she was with helping me design a cake for my moms birthday. I told her what my vision was for the cake and she gave me several suggestions and I couldn’t be any happier with how the cake turned out!! Oh, and she even persuaded me to try out these butter rolls made by market street and boy, those are by far my new favorite rolls. So if you’re in the Coppell area needing a cake, go see Felicia! You won’t be disappointed!
I ordered an 8” berry chantilly cake online yesterday and requested the cake say “Hello, Nurse!”. This cake is for the office to celebrate nurses week. I called the store bakery shortly after placing the order explaining the pickup will be today and if the cake could be pulled to ensure it is available since I have already paid for the item. The bakery personnel assured me there would be plenty available. I then get a call this morning to notify me the ribbon they use for the inscription is out of stock and I tell them I would still like the cake even without it. I get another call shortly after to notify me the cake itself is unavailable and will be substituted to a naked berry cake. I am already beyond disappointed at this point and hesitantly accept the substitute, because I do not have time to find another cake. When I finally open the cake box at home, I find it was substituted with a 5” cake and it does say hello nurse, as I requested initially, but it looks like I wrote it myself. Who wrote this and thought it was acceptable? Is there not a standard to uphold? What a complete fail from beginning to end. This is the absolute last time I shop at market street after multiple errors made to my order and being over charged for items!
