My OB was Dr. Oyewumi and words can’t express how amazing and kind she really is. I knew I wanted her to be my forever OB from the moment I met her she makes you feel so confident and comfortable. It’s hard to find doctors that can actually relate to you, listens to you and is truly there for you when you need it. She never rushes you and is always willing to go beyond with answering any of your questions. I can’t wait to have her again with my next child down the road. Also I love the new receptionist she is so kind as well, again not many that are out there so this office is great all around!

Dr. Brenda Sohn is wonderful. She goes above and beyond for her patients and even took on an extra day to help me have an earlier surgery day. She is extremely caring and dedicated in helping me reach my goals. I am grateful to have her as my doctor.

I want to say that Dr Lami's receptionist lies constantly. I checked in with her the previous week in regards to my ultrasounds and scans being sent in to my family doctor and she assured me that she would check with Dr Lami and then give me a call confirming. None of those things happened and I had a wasted appointment with my family doctor because she didn't have the files on hand. I went back to to Dr Lami's clinic today and confronted this receptionist who then proceeded to tell me that Dr Lami has been away and will be away so there's nothing she can do for me. I calmly told her that the doctor was in the last time I visited to check for the scans to be sent in and when she realized she was caught in a lie, she immediately passed me over to the receptionist in the middle and acted like she was busy talking to someone on the phone which is odd because all phone calls go to voicemail. Then this other receptionist tried to charge me for the printed copy of my report! I calmly told her that these copies should've been sent in to my family doctor last week and because they weren't, I was here, now, collecting them in hand so that there wouldn't be any further delay. I honestly understand that people are busy and sometimes things might be forgotten but for the receptionist by the window to blatantly lie to my face while assuring me that she would double check with the doctor makes her an evil person. I honestly don't understand why some people can't do their jobs correctly. If answering questions or faxing forms is so difficult, maybe she could find a job that is much more mundane. To any future clients of this clinic, be proactive and follow up in-person with this clinic. Those three behind the front desk are completely useless.

Unprofessional and unethical! It’s taken a few days for me to write this review as I am in total shock at my interaction with Dr. Sohn’s office. I requested a referral from my family doctor for Dr. Sohn to see me. I called Dr. Sohn’s office four times and they kept telling me they did not receive any referrals! Finally, after connecting with them again they admitted they got the referral and Dr. Sohn has rejected me according to her receptionist as a patient because I decided to deliver my baby at North York which was closer to my work instead of with her!! So she refuses to see me because another OB delivered my baby. How is this professional? How is this even allowed is beyond me but I guess the physicians board will be able to tell me if this is allowed or not!

Love Dr. Oyewumi and her new receptionist is extremely helpful and empathetic. The new receptionist helped me get an ultrasound appointment which for the first one, the family doctor’s receptionist is supposed to set up. She went above and beyond, making the Oyewumi experience complete

I met with Dr Sohn today and she was truly amazing. She listens to all your concerns and genuinely cares about her patients. I didn’t feel rushed at all and she was very thorough.

Dr. Oyewumi is absolutely fantastic. She is so kind and caring. She's amazing. I recommend everyone to see her. I just loved her!

I absolutely love Dr. Oyewumi she's the best! Very knowledgeable, polite, understanding and professional. I saw her for both my pregnancies and even though she didn't deliver my babies she made me feel at ease with every appointment. The receptionist Nelia was also great, helpful and always made me laugh when it was time to jump on scale lol. I highly recommend, thanks again!

Dr oyewumi is amazing i love her she makes me feel so comfortable and well taken care of and her new receptionist is just as amazing!!

I have visited Dr. Sohn in the past. She's an amazing doctor very friendly and personable. She made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Sohn's receptionist is terrible! I had the most horrendous experience with her. I've called the office twice in the last two weeks and her lack of willingness to assist is atrocious. I called on February 17th, 2022 to schedule an appointment with Dr. Sohn, she asked the reason for the appointment and I explained. She said Dr. Sohn was on mat leave and provided the name of the doctor covering her. She looked at my file and said I haven't seen Dr. Sohn in over a year duh we have been in a pandemic so I need another referral in order to schedule an appointment. On February 25th, 2022 I visited the walk in clinic that initially referred me to Dr. Sohn to request a referral, which I have a copy of. I called Dr. Sohn's office this morning to follow up on the referral and to schedule an appointment. First the receptionist interrupted me before I could even finish the first sentence. I stopped speaking, there was an awkward silence and I asked her if she would like to me to finish my statement before interrupting me so she could get all the information. I provided the reason for my call, she claims they didn't receive the referral and asked me to ask the doctor to resend it; I acknowledged. Then she says to have them mark it urgent so I could get an appointment as Dr. Sohn is a specialist. This has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had with a doctor's office just to schedule an appointment. I don't understand why it's so hard to schedule an appointment with Dr. Sohn without her receptionist gatekeeping. I'm completely turned off and won't be returning to the office which is unfortunate because Dr. Sohn is great.
