Bartenders are fantastic! The cook is insanely horrible! He/She needs to learn what seasonings are and most of all how they work. Screwed up the easiest dish in the world! How does one screw up chicken fajitas! Such a waste! The place could be so much more with a little management. The location is perfect! Such a shame!
Then was an odor once I walked in. Sat at the bar and there were 10 people including me and the bartender owner said it's going to be able until she can get to me. So I waited and ordered a beer then waited to order my dinner. I ordered chicken franchise and it came out at the normal time, with no delay. It didn't come with a salad and wasn't given any utensils. She asked the runner to get me utensils and he said they don't have any knives. She told him to go rinse one-off. I had to ask other people at the bar for salt and pepper. I had to ask for bread also. Let's get to the taste there was no seasoning at all on the dish. This was my first and last time.
We had a great experience! We are renting a house in Point Pleasant. I asked the owner for recommendations and she recommended Marlin’s Cafe. The service was wonderful starting with a call about having a large party to the wonderful service tonight! Our waitress, Danielle was great! She was very attentive and fun to talk with. I would totally recommend this place for families or for anyone!!
Nice place clean friendly staff who even though we came in and ordered food close to closing time for the kitchen. The burger meat was good the roll was ok drinks were pretty inexpensive, I haven’t had crinkle cut fries in a while but it was a nice change of pace. Overall this place is solid and definitely worth stopping in if your in the are plus if you’re a sports fan they have tons of tvs
Friendly wait staff. Plenty of room for social distancing and wide variety menu. Went twice in one week. Shrimp and flounder frances atop flavored rice outstanding. Basically a sports bar with a 5***** kitchen.
I try to be reasonable with reviews, especially during COVID. I honestly rarely write reviews about food/service at restaurants. Today my husband and I received a burnt appetizer, fine. We got over it. I then opened my entree which was rigatoni with vodka sauce and omg it was horrible. The entire dish was oil. I know that vodka sauce is clearly made with oil. However, the entire dish was orange grease. It was almost like they microwaved it and threw it in a to go container. We will never be going back. I spent almost $50 on an appetizer and 2 entrees that went right into the garbage. This is supposed to be the time they want to build clientele, unfortunately they did the complete opposite.
If I could give this place negative one star I would. We were waiting for a table for 5 minutes. Absolutely no excuse. The waitress was horrible. She sat two women behind us first because they wanted to go outside. We walked out hungry and annoyed.
Went for the first time yesterday. Fried calamari was cooked perfectly. Not chewy, not oily. Nicely done light and crispy. Lobster bisque was out of this world. For dinner I had what was by far one of the tastiest burgers I've had in a long time. The atmosphere and music were fantastic and the service was impeccable! Will definitely be returning!!!
UPDATE 1/29/2022: Just look at the replies the owner is giving people. Pathetic. And selectively answering some reviews. There is a reason the rating is a 3. Never been. Tried to go tonight with a group of people aware it’s last minute but figured we’d give it a shot being our plans we’re just solidified; called and the woman that answered the phone couldn’t have been more rude, nasty and unhelpful. Based on that alone I wouldn’t try again.
There was a dead fly in my drink which isn’t really a huge deal, just kind of gross... the real problems are the prices. THREE chicken fingers is just shy of $10 and doesn’t even come with fries. Also, not sure if this is common practice I’ve never seen it elsewhere, but they charged us for a side of ranch dressing, are you kidding...?! So petty. Anyway, the food was average and the service was okay when i go there they are not very friendly. I Wouldn’t go again to be honest. It’s not worth spending $21 on one drink and 3 nuggets with fries in an almost always empty bar.
