We had Sunday brunch and sat outside and enjoyed a wonderful meal. We started with a fruit mimosa Champagne with orange juice and your choice of mango, blood orange, or peach. Entrée #1: Spicy Chorizo Benedict Chipotle hollandaise, three poached eggs, toasted English muffins, spicy chorizo, cilantro & pico de gallo. Entree#2: Bacon, Mushroom, Spinach & Goat Cheese Frittata with Marmalade, Potatoes, and English muffin. Entrée #3: Garden vegetable egg white frittata with carrots, squash, zucchini, red onions, mushrooms, baby spinach, tomato & fresh basil baked into a flat omelet with 3 egg whites. Served with Marmalade potatoes & choice of toast.
My wife and I were here for Happy Hour and thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails and food. Each dish was excellent and our server, Dayna, was friendly and attentive and I'll be eternally grateful for her introducing their Warm Garlic Shrimp Bruschetta dish to us.Food: 5/5
Really bad experience at this location, I ordered the heart healthy breakfast, chicken was pink and had no flavor, pancakes were undercooked, I showed the server the pink chicken, she took it back and brought the same pieces of chicken breast I sent it back! Yes, they did cook it more but that was absolutely unacceptable and unsanitary! After that I didn’t sent back the pancakes, I just didn’t eat them. BTW, the other 2 plates also lacked salt and seasoning per the other 2 guests. The drinks were okay, but who wants to go out and spend $90 for 3 drinks? Never coming back.
Beautiful location with nice outdoor seating by a fountain and a pond. The food was good: fish tacos, chicken and wild rice soup and the Hollywood Cobb were all tasty. The service was great. Our waitress was very attentive when the food wasn't up. Nice place. Parking: Plenty for f parking at night.
We were 16 of us for a reservation at 11.30. The table was ready but we got the outside front location instead of the preferred back spot. Kids orders went in first and we were accommodated quickly to ensure the little ones had their meals. Mac and cheese and pasta were up to par though I could argue the cost could be questioned by some for the kids menu. The place was quite busy and our food was coming out as it was ready. The pineapple and dark chocolate pancakes were table favorites and so was their vegan burger. One of the items was missing from the order which they corrected and took sometime to come out. Overall a great spot with food ambiance and solid brunch/lunch choices. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu helped tremendously!
I love brunch on vacation, and have high standards for quality of food. I found Marmalade Cafe in my search, and liked what I saw on the menu. Located in the beautiful Promenade at Westlake Village, the location was just the first plus. The food and drinks were both incredible, so much so that we returned a couple of days later for more. Can get pricey with sides and drinks but I think is worth the price. I ordered the Dark Chocolate Macadamia Nut Pancakes with Grade A syrup upgrade, a cup of seasonal berries, orange juice and a Caramel Latte 10/10. My wife ordered Avocado Toast which was also fresh and delicious.
This is our breakfast spot when we drive up to Central coast. The food is soooooo good. I usually get the steak and eggs pictured They have both indoor and outdoor seating. There's a lovely water fountain outside as well a See's candy next door
Always recommend the wild mushroom bisque at any of the locations. It's earthy hearty taste sets any occasion on the right foot. The Carne asada tacos, hmm I would the execution was off. It lacked the finesse needed to be authentic. It used good ingredients, meat, lettuce, corn. The layering of the ingredients was blunt resulting in tacos that had a weird texture. It felt like its components fighting against each other. However the Service is wonderful real warm and attentive. Great cozy location. Nice scenery, water feature view from window.
Meh. For some reason it never goes according to when I dine here. My michelada was not good and served to me without any of the fixings the menu said it had. My turkey club looked appetizing but didn’t even have any mayo on it, super blah. My wife and daughter loved their breakfasts. I don’t know, maybe I just have bad luck here.
We were visiting the area and decided to check this place out! Food was awesome along with fantastic friendly service. Also, really enjoyed the overall atmosphere and vibe of the place. Shout out to our waiter Alex for making the entire experience a memorable one!Food: 5/5
