I pretty much stick to grabbing a dozen tamales to go. I was not overly impressed with the tortillia's so I do not buy them. The tamales are very good and the quality is consistent on each visit. UP DATE- Bought some street Taco's and they too are very good. The Corn Tortillas used with the street tacos were fresh. Recommend the street Tacos too
The food is GREAT the bakery is awesome The service on the other hand..... the entire crew needs to be replaced. They lack people skills, they don't ask how you are they never suggest anything which would boost the sales?!! they say thank you only when they hand you your order. I can bet my Salary that none of the crew is part owner. My daughter refuses to go inside at 13 she notices how rude they can be?! I keep going back like an idiot. The food is too good.
Do not eat the food here, it was not good. Their shredded chicken literally tasted like canned tuna. Also the person taking my order did not have a clue what I was ordering. I asked specifically about the dish and got a completely different one. Again the food isn't good, never coming back.
I have bought my baby shower and birthday cakes from them, and I must say they do an awesome job, not to mention their food and cakes are really good. Absolutely love their service. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
I decided to walk in one day after work and I was very disappointed of their bakery products. Bread has no authentic Mexican flavor and it leaves a weird taste in your mouth at the end it also tasted as if it was a day or two days old. Another day I decided to give it another chance and try their tacos but it was pretty disappointed too. On top of that I asked for iced water and the waitress said they had no ice...no Ice????who does not serve ice???? They just wanted me to pay for bottle water of course...some people are just so greedy.
I bought my daughter's 15th birthday cake and both Ruby and Karen were very sweet & helpful. The cake was almost too beautiful to eat... strawberry super moist cake with strawberry lining, whipped frosting... it was delicious. So very worth it and will be back on the next occassion.
It's a hidden gem tucked away off of Polo Rd! If you're not going all the way to Pioneer for tortillas, pop in here. Their breakfast tacos are bomb and pastries are delicious!
All my reviews are food places. I wonder what it means. This place has crazy good authentic mexican breakfast food and its a great price. I got the box of breakfast burritos and it was amazing.
Worse food ever, we spend $49 dollars worth of food place on a order to go....Food was hard meat, gordita and their gordita beans with cheese the worse, the beans were bad/sour/expired.. a different plate same the ricesmashed rice and beansexpired. This was at their grand prairie location.
This has to be the worst Marquez location if you want to have better and fresh pan Dulce I suggest going to their Arlington location they have more of a variety the last time I came here was a couple days ago I bought small container of their homemade salsa by the time I got home I noticed that the salsa was rotten whenever I had started pouring it on my burrito I was sick for 3 days after consume in this salsa you have to check your pan Dulce before you buy it I've bought several that look like they were good until I tore them apart and they were rotten
