Martha's Art Studio was built by a loving husband who encouraged her to show and share her talents with the community.
Martha Roberts has painted for more than 50 years. Her talent spans from designing homes (like the Art Studio), murals, crafts, portraits, and other types of media. She first learned to paint from her mother who used twigs, leaves, and toilet paper as her brushes; to make her own paint she used berries, nature, and anything around the house. This taught Martha to be very creative with very little resources. Martha was a member of Art League and has had many showings and awards for her paintings.
Robin Tipton painted through high school and had been recognized nationally and toured the states in art exhibits but shortly after high school she put her brushes away to go to college. Graduating with a master’s degree in teaching special education she taught for 12 years. Robin started commissioning art work to buyers about 5 years ago. Two years ago Robin decided to take a break from teaching and gave few art lessons upon request. Once she realized how much art was a mental therapy for her she decided not to teach school but to open The Art Studio to the public more often. Together they make a great team and believe that God's world is a masterpiece and they want to capture a glimpse one painting at a time.
