Martin is an incredible hairdresser! He's always honest about what he thinks would look good. If he doesn't think something would look good on you, he'll let you know and suggest something else. This salon is beautiful and everything is very professional. I absolutely love this salon and would recommend it to anyone!
I together with my wife and sisters-in law from New York and a brother-in-law from New Jersey visited Martin's hair salon for hair cuts, hair colour, manicure and pedicure. We had the whole salon for ourselves and we were even treated to a good lunch, cooked by Martin himself. We were all so happy and satisfied with the services we got and we as one would like to tell everybody that "If you need a good haircut, go see Martin, you will feel like a new person." After waiting for awhile after my initial appointment time, “Martin” came in seemingly hungover, gave me a buzz cut around the sides, cut some length off the top, and finished the cut in about 10 minutes. When I asked for product, he squished some cheap gell into the palm of my hand to apply myself, and then proceeded to forget my name when I was paying at the reception desk. Overall, poor customer service and I’m now left with a mediocre haircut for the next month. For those looking to get a cut in Windsor, I would advise taking your business elsewhere, as I will be doing going forward.
I had originally posted a two-star review without a comment. Five months ago I had a basic wash/cut/style done by the owner. I asked for shoulder length with a side swept bang and even provided a picture for reference. My hair was cut just below my ears and it was uneven in the back, I did have to get it trimmed elsewhere. This past weekend after 5 months he called me saying I wrote in my review that his salon was too expensive and he would give me a refund. He was very rude on the phone and even during my visit when I was getting my hair done. He must have mixed up bad reviews because I had never said anything about the price. When I went in today he wasn't there, the woman working would not give me a refund and asked me to wait one hour for the owner to come in. I told her they can keep the money as I had never even asked for the refund. Just awful customer service, I really hope I don't have to hear from him again. Windsor has so many choices for hair salons, don't give this man your business.
I always have a great time at Martin’s! You can tell he knows what he’s doing and has a great passion for it. He always makes sure that you are happy with the results and that you have a good time while at the salon.
The best birthday experience that I have ever had with my family. We spent all day. Hair & pampering. Staff were very professional, services were superb, awesome view of the Detroit skyline. Foo&beverage were comp.
Martin is the best in Windsor and his staff are excellent. The spa services are excellent and no matter what service is provided you leave feeling like a million dollars.
