My goodness! I received a tip from an adjoined merchant on where to buy wholesome good tamales. WOW! these “Rajas” tamales are simply the best tamales ever. On a 1 to 10 scale they are at a 15 plus. Yes, they are off the scale. Furthermore, this bakery Martinez Bakery is meticulously clean and well organized. The staff is courteous, pleasant and happy. I was truly overwhelmed with their tamales, that I called them back to thank them. I placed a second order for the next day - because their tamales sell out quickly. Thank you again, Martinez Bakery. Your absolutely number one, without a doubt, see you tomorrow.

There tamales are great they are on banana peal they have green salsa chicken or red salsa beef.. But you have to go early to get some..

$2.99 per banana leaf wrapped chicken tamales... almost no chicken except a thin lube Doreen the middle... same in separate batches, so not just a one off. So sad...3 bucks for mostly cornmeal and green salsa.

I am a flan Aficionado and they have the best I have ever had! I moved from Vista to Utah and anytime my Vista friends come out to visit me I have them bring one with them!

The sweet bread was super soft and great flavor.

I think they have the best tamales in Vista, the customer service could be better
