The staff is always ready to help you and very knowledgeable. Great selection for a small store and a MUCH better choice than any superstore. If you want to be treated like you're more than another one of the faceless masses that walk through the door, then go here for your plant needs.
Was referred to Martin's from Tree farm that we purchased our trees at a number of years ago. Our trees are slowly dying, branch by branch. Called Martin's and was told that they are very busy, they will call me back the following week and schedule an appointment. Never called me back, so I called again the following week. Was again told that they will call me back the next week. I pointed out that this is what I was told last week. I was then told that they have existing customers that keeps them very busy and as a new customer I have to wait till they can get to me. Haven't received a call back yet and it's now been almost 7 weeks. I guess a "new customer" is not a priority. Would not recommend Martin's Pet & Garden Center.
They are a nice little garden shop and pet shop. They have an assortment of rare and strange arachnids and roaches and reptiles. The staff is pretty knowledgeable. They always have a variety of rodents and birds also.
Cheapest place to buy rats, if you have snakes. I always buy my dog's 5 way shots here. Very reasonable on prices.
Absolutely love this store!! Always find myself going out of my way to go here rather than Petsmart or Petco because of the friendly, knowledgeable staff...plus why not support an awesome local business that has been around since before I was born....lol
For a place that was going out of business, the prices were still high. They've been in business over 30 years and the owners wanted to retire. They're better suited toward richer people.
I originally got my mice for my snake from the University Park Mall until I learned that this place was cheaper. But, once I started getting mice from here my snake got sick and sadly did not make it. I wont be taking the chance of coming back to this place.
Was our go to store for all things pet and lawn care. Closed in October 2017. Sadly, Elkhart lost a fabulous asset.
Good place for pet supplies and garden supplies.not a great selection of pets. Established in the community. Looks rhe same as it did when it first opened a very very long time ago.
A gem in our community. Friendly, and helpful staff. Anything you could want for pet &garden at a reasonable price.
