This is one of my favorite Asian bakeries. They make stuff for other stores around. It is not the most friendly place in the neighborhood, but they do make good stuff here. I haven't been here in some time. I noticed that the packaging of the cookies changed. The almond cookies are my favorite thing here. They taste undescribably good. It is a small cookie with a lot of flavor and a good crunch. The cakes here are also good. My favorite cake is the mocha. The texture is different, and the flavor is good. I was hoping to buy one today, but they were all out. They also sell it by the slice. The place is looking a little rundown inside. The display cakes by the window outside by the front looked a little old and dusty. I came around 1ish, and they were out of most of the cakes, only selected baked items left. This bakery is located in a strip mall. You have parking in the back and some in the front.
I recently visited Mary Ann Bakery in North Miami and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of their baked goods. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the sites of baked goods and sweets. One of their standout items is their egg tarts. The crust was flaky and buttery, while the custard filling was creamy and not too sweet. I also tried BBQ Pork buns, which were soft and golden on the outside filled with delicious BBQ pork meat. Their cheesecake buns are also very delicious. What I appreciated most about this bakery was the variety of baked goods they offered. From savory items like pork buns and scallion pancakes to sweet treats like coconut buns and egg tarts, there was something for everyone. The prices were also very reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the baked goods. Overall, I highly recommend this bakery to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic taste of China.
Delicious BBQ pork buns. Very authentic and fair price at $2 each. Only place I would go in Miami for a taste of yummy Chinese bakery. Highly recommended!
Place is an authentic Chinese bakery. I go for their Roasted pork buns Char Siu Bao but they have others too. I'm a little disappointed that some buns have very little roasted pork inside and others have more inside. There not made equally. I was told that there are 2 people making them that's why they are different. 1 of the 2 persons is being stingy with the filling, I hope it isn't the mom because the daughter is friendlier. I have to say, they are so delicious.
This is the only Chinese bakery that I know of that's in the area and by all means, please support them! It's a local spot with some of the best baked buns I've ever had. I've also had the mini elephant ear cookies, as well as a Strawberries and Creme cake, and an Almond Chiffon cake! They're not overly sweet, they have a very moist, decadent texture, and the cookies pair well with tea or coffee! I truly do recommend this spot when you're visiting Miami. Thank you!
I love this bakery ! Barbecue bun and pineapple bun are so delicious! Friendly customer service !
BEST pork buns, egg tarts equivalent to my favorites at New York City China town. That’s right. FRESH and baked. My mom used to bring me as a child 20 years ago, finally made a stop and I’m so glad I did. Can’t wait to get an authentic Chinese birthday cake for my moms 76 yr old birthday coming April!
Hands down my favorite bakery in Miami, and the only good place I’ve found to get egg tarts. I’ve been coming here for two decades and it has never let me down. All of their jelly/cream rolls are amazing, and I swear by their melon cakes. However, if you want something savory, their pork buns and curried chicken pies are rich and delicious.
Delicious Bbq pork buns! Bigger than the serving I’ve gotten when eating dimsum! Also tried the curried beef a glad I did
Place is older than me and I still love this bakery nobody can duplicate the flavor! I wish they would add a little more filling like how they used too .....please
